My fiance and I were supposed to fly to NY for Christmas today to spend Christmas with my family.  DIA's closed until tonight and the earliest we can get to NY is 7pm on the 25th.   >:(

Oh well....at least we still get to go.

Still snowing. airports are closed until late today, most won't get a flight until the 25th at the earliest and the 27th at the latest. Another system is due in on Sat. with more snow possible.

This is the heavy wet snow that you don't normall see around here.  I spent most of this morning/early afternoon shoveling the driveway and sidewalk.  Street still needs to be plowed.

Well temps here have been pretty darn good lately, we are at a wopping 8°C today & for Christmas 0°C & it will be white!  8)

It is 65 and very muggy here in the Piedmont of NC.  We've had thunderstorms on and off all day and are currently under a tornado watch.  Its expected to be sunny and 71 tomorrow.  I have a feeling we are going to pay for this in late February/early March with sleet/ice/snow mixes.
