I want to apply Jesse's Total Control Mace robe complaint to the new Royal Guard. They've done this awesome figure, with great articulation, and used a soft goods robe -- but again, it is this heavy, poorly hanging felt material that just blows the realism of the figure for me. If they had used that nice, thin, well hanging material from the TC Mace, the figure would be perfect.

Maybe Mas will stick out his tongue in ROTS.

I'd rather see Padme or Leia do it.

It's a kickass version of the Red Guard!  Although it does need the force pike :(

I'm geeked that they went so far as to put a holster on this guy with a bikerscout sidearm.  Nice work on Hasbro's part.  Articulation looks good too, and I'm pleased with the robe.

Looks like it's time to cast some forcepikes.  Now the question then is if you go with the vintage pike or modern ones...  I dunno which I like more, but probably modern just for accuracy sake.  Vintage maybe for some diveristy?

Actually, that suit under the cloak is EU, from the Crimson Empire comic.

Cool fig, I'll pic up a few. Best Royal Guard yet.

ToyNewsI.com now has a few loose shots up of the Clone Commander figure.  Nothing we haven't seen before, but just some new, different, looks at the figure.  This is one of the figures I'm looking forward to most, looks like a good one.

Those are nice pics of that figure... so much better than the ARC that it's not even funny.

Got a couple more figures today – these from Amazon.com.

I cracked open Ki-Adi Mundi, and man oh man, am I happy. It seems to apply everything that was learned from vOTC. A fully articulated figure, with a soft goods cloak and detachable belt ala ANH Luke. The only downside is his arms don't come together close enough to grip the saber in both hands. Odd.

They finally used a good material for the outer cloak. It's nice and flexible, and seems to hang realistically. It's a major improvement and is exactly what they need to be doing for all of their Jedi figures, especially a nice, final Anakin.

Just opened Agen Kolar and immediately took off his robe and put it on Coll 1 Mace.  It works alright and will suit until they finally pull their heads out of their a-holes and give us a decent Mace Windu.  He's 2nd behind Padme for getting the Royal Shaft from Hasbro in the Prequels

Loving the Collection 2 Jedi though, they are some really great figures :)

Collection 2 Mace Windu with the Agen Kolar Robe reused?

I'd be all for that Scott.  :)  A new Mace with a perhaps superior sculpt (hide those shoulders dammit), but I'd buy him all over for that.  I'd buy 2 of him for that actually.
