Star Wars Celebration III: Indianapolis
« on: November 25, 2003, 11:12 AM »
I was wondering if any of you were going to go to the Star Wars Celebration 3, i think that since it is the last Star Wars celebration for the last and final movie, i think that Jedi Defender should go to the celebration, yup. We should all go and meet each other, do some trades, etc............ If you all think it's a good idea we should do it.  I think that would be pretty tight, we all dress up as different SW characters?  That would be cool.  What do you think? ;)

Its a little early to be planning this, don't you think?  EIII doesn't come out for another year and a half plus.  I couldn't tell you what I'm doing next week, let alone a year and a half from now.

Yeah. Maybe when it gets a little closer, and depending on where it is, what weekend, how much vacation time I have, what kind of bills I'm dealing with, etc...

Hey, Mainland05, screw all these haters.

Tell you what:  I'll meet you by the hotdog stand in Food Court B at 2:30, on Saturday, April 30, 2005.  I'll be there with a "Virex" name tag on, wearing my Stormtrooper helmet.

See you then.

I'll be lurking somewhere nearby, just to see if Virex really shows up.  If he does, I'll sprint past him and rip his Stormtrooper helmet off, and Mainland05, you take a picture!   :-*

This is gonna be fun!  Can't wait...   8)

Celebration 3 is heating up.

The Force.net and Rebelscum seem to already be talking about Celebration 3. So far the talk is that C3 will once again be held in Indianapolis, IN (where I am currently living, probably not by the time C3 is in town) near the end of April 2005.

If this talk is all true and on target it is great news. I hear the next Star Wars Insider will officially announce the mentioned C3 news.

I guess it is time to start getting things together here on my side and contact my contacts to helpout once again at C3.

So what are your thoughts on C3 once again being held in Indy?
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

I wasn't able to attend last time...my son was born 6 weeks before that and I think my wife would have killed me.

I am torn as to whether I want to go to C3...I would probably have to drive.  Indy is probably a 8-10 hour drive from here

I would like to meet most of you peeps, the whole convention thing though doesn't do a lot for me.  I'm not too hip on autographs, buying crap etc

I've heard good things about Indy, people had a ton of fun last time so that part is cool

Brent and I were going to dogsled down last time we had talked about it, maybe then I'll come :-*

I really enjoyed my trip to Indy last time.  I saw far more than just the Celebration, I hit the town and checked out the sights.  Cool zoo, landmarks, and lots of places to dine and shop.  I'm looking forward to going back for Celebration 3.

If it is held in Indy I would be up on going down. I am not big into crowds but I would like to meet up face to face with some of the memebrs here. Get myself some good SW loot and maybe throw on some armor again, I would have to connect with the local 501st down there and see what they have planned.
If other guys from along the road would like to hook up let me know- car pool or caravan down, set up rooms whatever.
