Those antenna toppers would be stolen so quick were you to actually put one on your car... I had a Jack ball stolen, little less if Vader was up there...
Anyway, I got my flight booked- yeah! It's w/ ATA, which I hear is supposed to be hubbed in Indy and supposedly a valid airline. Not too familiar with it, but my friend that I'm going w/ convinced me it'll be okay. We'll be getting in around 12:30 on Wednesday so we can check in before the rest of the gang that is driving (from Dallas) gets there.
Am I the only one staying at the con center? I don't want to miss the parties w/ you guys just beccause of that.
I'm so excited, but I will not put excessive happy faces and exclamation points, just believe me.

I think it's Me, you, Alice, and Jared confirmed so far... we may end up with a few more crammed in there, but I haven't heard for sure yet.

I believe we are at the Courtyard by Marriott right across from the Con-Center. I also believe that Alice said that he was picking up the tab for the room as long as you buy his beer (probably a wash cost-wise).

I'm getting there by driving. Good ole'fashioned road trip with the Saturn Vue (lots of room for hauling home loot

). Should be able to get 25-30 mpg (possibly more) on the trip since it is mostly Interstate driving from here to there.

Right now, I'm planning on leaving early Wednesday morning (7am), so I should get there sometime in the late afternoon (6pm). Mapquest and previous drives to Chicago indicate that it should be a 9-10 hour drive depending on # of restroom stops so it shouldn't be too bad.

As for the snoring, not unless my allergies are messed up. So, don't bring any cats and I'll be fine... probably. $:-\$

Day late here, but I finally plugged in my hotel code to see what's left for ya' Ricardo, and here's the slim pickin's through the C3 site:

Crowne Plaza at Union Station - $138/night, 0.20 miles away (best bet)

Adam's Mark Indianapolis Airport - $109/night, 8.0 miles away

Quality Inn & Suites at the Airport - $74/night, 8.0 miles away

THAT'S IT.

But that's not to say there aren't any other hotel rooms available in the area. But they just aren't available through the C3 site. So you may have a little better luck just calling random hotels near the convention center to see what you can find, or use one of those fancy travel websites to do the checking. Anyway, good luck! Brent, I'll try to dig up my old hotel e-mail for some exact prices, and I'll PM it to you and the fellas...

I prefer to revert to as young and idiotic as I can pull off in most of my posting. I'm even contemplating overuse of all punctuation keys as well as randomly locking and editing threads wherever I can now.
