An an unrelated note, as annoying as Anthony Daniels can often be, I'm rather disappointed that he won't be MC'ing the events.  He's really rather funny sometimes, and he's obviously a lot more "connected" and knowledgeable when it comes to the Star Wars Saga than his replacement is...

Captain Typho.

Ugh.   :-\

Yeah, if he's as stoic as his acting, it could be a little boring.  But I keep my hopes up!

Sorry guys. I tried to get Lucas to pick me to host, but I guess being on MTV wasn't enough credentials. I guarentee I could have been an electrifying host.  :-*

If I go I can only make it one day on the Saturday.  A 3 hour drive.  So, looks like I will be hitting the road by 5am to stand in line at 8am or so.  Not to bad really.

Oh man nothing can be simple with me.  Found out my friend can't make it to Celebration 3 now.  He lives in Indy.  So, I can't stay at his house on Saturday night.  Nobody else I know is going other than folks here on the boards.

I asked my dad if he wanted to come.  He can not make it.  My wife said she would go with me.  Which is great but that means us plunking down $80 just to get in the door.  Plus, we will have to bring our 5 month old son along which means additional hassles of feeding him and trying to get him to remain quiet and happy at that event.  LOL!  Yeah, like that will happen.  It of course means we would need to leave earlier since he would be with us.  So far our regular babysitting option are not open that night.  Ugggh!!

I don't know.  I was just going to spend the $40 to get in.  The $15 on the Vader figure and then get a some autographs and roam around the place aimlessly.  Maybe chit chat with some people here from JediDefender and surrounding  boards.  You know have a fun time and relax.  Eat dinner and go home later that  evening or attend that party.

Now it will be more stressful and at least and extra $40 for her ticket, plus that much more for meals.  I don't know.  Thinking about not going.  I still want to buy ROTS merchandise at retailers but would have to pull back considerably because of the extra expense of this event.

But it's the last Star Wars Celebration (most likely) and I want to go!!!  Someone tell me it will be ok please!  :)

It will be ok. Maybe some one should suggest to Philip Wise to have a babysitting area?  :)

If he'd pay me I'd do it. 3 years of public child care and raising 2 very fickle sisters should get me the job, eh?
