I'm actually feeling slightly bloated after a Shrimp Feast tonight.  I wouldn't mind a little famine for a day or two.  I welcome the famine.

There is this one creepy collector in my area named "Scott".

He is always buying the rare and HTF figures from the stores before I can find them.  >:(

Anyway, this dude is seriously tall - almost freakishly tall - and he gives the store clerks the strangest looks.  Here, I happened to snap a picture of him once:

I'm getting creeped out right now just remembering it... :-\

HEY!  >:(  That looks like me :o

Didn't you just do Shrimp Feast 2 days ago?

Can't get enough of the Shrimp Fest!
hmm... Chesapeake Bay Biscuits... that's something I haven't tasted in a long time...
Maybe after my toy runs tomorrow I'll do lunch at Red Lobster...
You are starting to damage my calm.

This probably doesn't even fit in this thread, but reading the posts made me think of it. Plus, it's a good little story.

A week or so ago, I was at Target for some non-Star Wars related shopping, and stopped by the SW aisle for kicks just to see what the new movie figures look like. I get to the aisle and a couple kids (about 5-7 years old) and their mom were looking through the figures. This was a happy sight, alone. I didn't want to disturb their childhood SW glee by barging in to look at the figures, so I started to leave the aisle. As I turned around, one of the kids says to his mom, "Where are the Stormtroopers? I wanted a Stormtrooper." Yes, Stormtrooper.

A seven-year-old original trilogy purist!

As I wiped the salty moisture from my eyes, I thought, "Kid, I'm right there with you."

the other day at Wal Mart a kid was pointing to the vader voice changer and asked if he could get it . The mom said no and then she went on to say " besides you can hear that noise at any old hospital" .  I have yet to hear that noise at a hospital

It is always nice to see a kid's enthusiasm burst by a grown up.  By the way I did see some more young kids checking out the Star Wars stuff.

Seems to be more of that this time around for some reason.

:o Someone give this woman the "Mother of the Year" award.  ::)

Seriously, this wins for the most disturbing comment I've ever heard of being uttered in a toy aisle from a parent to a child.  Contest over.  I hate humanity.  :'(

Today I saw the real life simpsons comic book guy waddle into the post office with lots of priority mail boxes. He had the clothes, pony tail and everything. I wonder what was in the boxes? ::)

I've decided to finally complete the package and make my face be my avatar, and that way I'm just like Deanpaul as well!

Have you ever told this scalper that he looks a lot like Ralphie from A Christmas Story?
PS Diddly, he doesn't, but this guy does
