ROTS Tickets Are On Sale As Of Today!

I didn't want to throw this in the movie section, cause I'm avoiding spoilers and don't want to actually see anything I'll regret, like I did in the ROTS toy section

Anyways, Revenge of the Sith tickets went on sale today nationwide, I've ordered my midnight showing tickets and thought everyone would want to know, cause it's always possible the first showings could sell out quickly. So don't wait, act now, be the first to see ROTS, buy your tickets now. Buy, buy, buy, buy!

My town has one theatre, and they're not going to be opening ROTS.  They will eventually get it, likely midway through June.  The manager said their theatre is just too small and the big theatres sign a contract to play it for at least 4 weeks.  Then the smaller theatres get a crack at getting it for a cheaper price.

Looks like I'll be driving 2 hours to Saskatoon, the nearest place big enough to have it.  I think I'll check the net to see if they're selling tix yet...

EDIT: And I am a giant goon. I just bought a ticket for the 2pm digital showing the following day at the Arclight.

Man, I cant figure this out. I'm using the family credit card to buy the tickets but it says "You must use the actual number imprinted on the card, and this crad must be presented at the theatre." Now, can I buy the tickets, pick them up, with the family card, or does the actual cardholder have to be present when picking them up?

They just slide the card to retrieve the ticket info and print the tix at the box office, so you shouldn't have a problem. At least that's the process around these parts.

Got mine earlier today for the Digital Theater 25 minutes north of my house.

If there's a digital theater near you showing it - Go there.  Word on the street is that (like Episode II) the digital theaters will have a slightly different (read: improved) version of the film.

Hmmm I didn't think of that. I'm seeing it at a movie theater that also has an IMAX screen in it, so I would hope the rest of the screens/projectors are modern and thus digital.

Odds are that if the theater is digital they will be bragging about it - I don't know of IMAX being digital at all.  The Cinemark we ordered from is showing Midnight SW on 6 screens - 2 of them are digital.
