Well, there may be an overall quality issue, that's about all I can think of.  I don't think they'll be bad or anything like that, just maybe not premium quality.

Which one Kev?  Gotta let me know real quick as the pins start tomorrow.  Article in today's paper where some schmuck from a store I've never even been to is spouting off about ebay ::)  That oughta get the hot wheels guys attention >:(  Same article mentioned Maureen Kuppe (yes, that Maureen from RS) and her collection with a mini-interview.  Chose the right person, I'd say, she's got a basement full of stuff and it's pretty eclectic.

Picked up the albums today, kinda neat.  Just cardboard, but they're fine.

Pins look to be only about an inch tall or so, based on the space on the album, rectangular in shape.  Mostly only torso shots from what I can tell.

BTW, I made a calculation error for the pins that come out on the weekend as those papers are more.  I'm not sure what the Saturday or Sunday papers cost so the price of those pins is likely to be closer to around $5 each.  Not a big deal, but just so you know I'm not arbitrarily raising the price.

The emperor(or sidious, or palpy, or whatever he's listed as). And if they come out with a clone trooper, I wouldnt turn it down. :)

Thanks. So they would be 5 each? When I send you the payment for that deal we had worked out last month or so, I'll tack on the extra for the pin, if that will work?

Sidious is coming, no clone trooper.

Album and Vader pins have been picked up.

I'm really getting excited about this set.  Lord Wader from Snowtroopers posted some great pics of the album (scroll down a bit).  Despite being cardboard, the art looks great!

At least you'll have lots of paper to wrap everything in!! :)

PS:  I know I asked for just Padme but that was before I knew there would be a Princess Leia one.  I need that too...buddy old pal ;)

Well, there goes the surprise ::)  Of course, an extra Padme AND Leia were always in the plans :P  Those are the only female pins.

Weirdest pin being made: Bail Organa ???

So what's your impression of these pins so far Brent?  This picture makes them look nice, but do they feel like a quality product?

Well, I'm only feeling them through plastic, so it's sort of hard to tell :-\  They look nice enough, but the quality is not that of a die-cast $7 US pin, but that should be no surprise, given they're only $2 pins.  So on the quality side (and none of you can back out now :P) they're not top notch.

That said they do look nice.  Really, they'll display quite well and I'd suggest about the only way to properly display them would be on the albums.  The albums, though only cardboard, are pretty nice.  They're a good, sturdy cardboard that should stand up well.  The graphics are really nice too.  And I picked up extras of the album for each of you as well, should you have some perverse, OC desire to have a pinned and un-pinned version ::)

I think you'll like them.
