FYI - Costco three packs have been spotted at Costco a few days ago.

I saw in the Hasbro Q & A on another site that Costco was going to have these babies in a 3 pack for Christmas- Makes me wish I had waited, cause I sure don't need duplicates of these things.

Just found Artoo-Potatoo w/Princess Tater at K-Mart for $8.99.  Wasn't this supposed to be an internet only exclusive??

I don't believe so.  I found mine at TRU.

I've seen it at TRU and Superstore (Canadian grocery chain) as well.

Hasbro said a few times that Artoo-Potatoo would see "limited release" due to diminished retailer support, but they never really said what that meant.  I never saw one at retail and ordered mine through HasbroToyShop to be safe.  I guess it's possible that K-Mart asked for it and more were made or something?

As for TRU/Superstore finds, they don't really count because Canada does strange stuff.  You can't get all the basic figure waves, but you can get limited release potato heads?   Crazy Canada... ::)

I haven't read this anywhere else yet, but I was just listening to the Star Wars Action News podcast here this afternoon - and one of their people went to the Disney panel, where they announced exclusive Potato Heads, including Luke, Han, Leia, Fett, and Maul if I remember correctly.  They didn't mention all of the "potato names" (Luke Frywalker comes to mind), but it sounds like they will be Disney exclusive.  Anyone have any info on these?

Thanks Jeff :).  Yeah, I agree, I never should have started with these, but now I want them as well - as long as they aren't $20 a piece or something.  Now, who helps out with the Disney stuff? :P

I really liked the first three but I'm seriously thinking about dumping them as I'm sure I'll never get get my paws on these suckers.  I can understand one or two of these things being exclusives, but FIVE??  Geesh, R2 was the last one we had and he came out what almost two years ago?  It would have been nice if they would have thrown us a couple of these.  Perhaps they weren't selling well at retail or something.

I doubt it's the selling well aspect. They're completely gone from the shelves over here and i've never even seen the R2...

My guess is that since Disney already has a strong relationship with the Potato Head products that they felt this was a good opportunity. All the toy stores at Disney have huge "make your own Potato Head" areas and they've been packed everytime i've been there...

My only wonder is if these will be complete Potato Heads or just "parts kits" like they did with POTC...
