I'll definatley check this one out on Thursday or Friday.

I assume everything is in glass cases preventing my pictures from developing, due to over exposure from the flash rebound? :(

Yeah most likely it will be, but they should also have very good lighting for these things, so you may not need the flash.

This is definitely one of those exhibits I want to see, as something similar was at the Museum of Science & Industry here in Chicago and I never got the chance to see it :( To see all the props used in the OT will be downright awesome I think.

It was truly amazing seeing this at C2.  They had a full sized Swoop bike, an AT AT model, pieces of the Death Star Trench, etc, etc.  It was really amazing.

I was in there staring for at least 10 or 15 minutes.

I never really bothered to reply to this after C3, but I've gotta say their "Archive" there was pretty disappointing.  Considering some of the Lucasfilm Archive exhibits I've seen over the years containing TONS of stuff, this one was practically a total waste.  There were really only about 12 different (small) displays in the room, which is vastly less than there should be considering the event, the fans in attendance, and all the potential props and costumes to choose from.  I'm just thankful that I zipped in there on Thursday real quick when there was less than a 10 minute line.  With the lack of a wait, I don't feel like perusing the archive was really a waste of time, since the few things they had in there were pretty cool.  But come Friday - Sunday, the line was probably an hour or two long, which I definitely don't think was worth it...

The best I can recollect, they had:
Large (4') Millenium Falcon model (very cool)
Star Destroyer model (cool)
Sandcrawler model (cool)
Landspeeder model, with silly 12" dolls in it (including Bionic Man, I think)
AT-TE model
Small diorama of Mustafar (lame)
Display of about 10 different lightsaber hilts (cool)
Display of various Wookiee weapons (kinda dumb)
Display of about 10 different weapons/accessories from the whole Saga (decent)
Darth Vader costume (can see this at most FAO Schwarz toy stores)
3 Wookiee costumes (eh.)
Hoth Leia/Bespin Han/Wampa costumes (ok)
Obi-Wan/Padme/Anakin ROTS costumes (ok)

Pretty sure that was it.  Cool stuff, sure, but they should've had at least twice as much stuff in there to really make it worthwhile and impressive.  So what'd everyone else think of the Archives there?

When I checked it out with you, Chris, Jason, and Brent, I was kinda blown away by the AT-TE and Wookiee costumes. The detail in the 4' Falcon was amazing!

I was disappointed that I couldn't get into the Archive exhibit. It was one of the few things I wanted to see, but everyday I would see these huge lines and either I couldn't get into them cause they were capped or I had other things to do. Seeing pictures my friends took of it, I'm still disappointed I didn't get to see it, but at the same time I recognize that there wasn't a lot of great stuff to see. Stuff from ROTS would just not interest me until after I've seen the movie a few times. But man did that Falcon look so cool....

I tried taking an extensive # of photos at the exhibit.  It was the only thing I did Sunday before I went home, short of trying to see people to say goodbye.

The lines to this were rivaled only by the store I think...  It was probably the most popular exhibit.  I think it was worth it, but I'm nerdy like that...  Being next to film props gives me the jollies.   :-\

Our wait was remarkably short the day we went in, but I think that might have been Thursday.  Well under an hour.  Having not seen the stuff before, it wasn't as disappointing to me as it may have been to others.

Here's some pics:

Wookies (sorry Kev, the other pic didn't turn out)

Prop sabers (noting Kev's aforementioned glare effect)

Vader at entrance

Yoda

ESB costumes
