Ah, the Dino-Rider days!  They had some cool toys, and there were some cool ones the JP line too.  Something though about most of the JP toys seemed like they could have done better on them to me.

That upcoming KING KONG movie might have some cool dinosaur toys made for it; and hopefully the figures would be 3-3/4".

I love the gunner! It's reminiscent of the clone pilot and gives an indefinite link between the original and prequel trilogies. Very VERY well done!

It's a little bigger than I thought, so I'm not sure what to photograph them with (in terms of a backdrop).  ...

Well, for a backdrop you could either take the pics outside, or even make a custom backdrop with a painted piece of foamcore?

Yeah, that's what I've been doing for a lot of my recent customs (I made a couple foamcore backdrops a year ago so I figured I might as well use them for something).  I'll see how my clones fit on 'em

Kenner got lazy with the second Jp movie.. and well hasbro just messed it up later on..

The King Kong toys are being done by playmates and are extra craptacular.

I dont know how i feel about the king kong figures, how's their articulation? And i was thinking of ordering some Microman Predator figures, for those who bought them did you like them and how was the overall quailty of the figure?

Here are some more:

The first is a SSA Commander Appo (based on the concept art).  I used the regular formula for an SSA Clone (head and lower torso/legs of AT-TE Tank Gunner and upper-body of #41 Clone) with some BBi Elite Force Accessories (as everybody else has already done  ).  I made him because I wanted to do something with my Zett Jukassa figure

Janitor Droid (7HR-GD) and Bucketbot:







Backstory on Janitor Droid:
The Crusader Class Assassin Droid was employed by Count Dooku to assassinate a high ranking politician on Tralfa, a planet that refused to submit to the demands of the Separatists.  Unfortunately for Dooku, the Republic forces arrived in time to reinforce the Tralfa Home Defense Army and the Crusader Class Assassin Droid was captured intact (the auto-self destruct was damaged in the skirmish).  The targeted politician was a proud man and decided to "show" Dooku and other Separatists that he was not afraid of their thwarted assassination attempts; he converted the Crusader Class Assassin Droid into a Janitor Droid for the Home Defense Army Training Depot.

Nice looking Appo Greg. Just a Quick Question but how do you mix the legs or where do you cut the torso?

The droids are fantastic! The Janitor is an excellent use of parts. I see some Grievous and Clone trooper parts but I don't know what the rest comes from. I'd love the recipie, this is one I may have to copy for myself one day. Nice choice of color on him too, it fits him really well. The mop turned out great. Is it custom made? I really like the bucket droid too. He really looks like he could be a mop bucket. These really turned out geat, it is cool to see something different like these guys. Someone has to clean up the Star Wars universe.  I have only seen something like this done once before, by Owen. Great Work, these are my favorite droids from this months CCC so far.
