Your Commander Cody is coming along very well. I love the Flamethrower Clone as well.
I remember my dream now.

Thanks MetalJedi!
I'm going to try my hand at a SA Biker Scout (I saw somebody use a Microman body w/Biker Scout parts, so I want to see if I can do that too).  Ahhh, first I have to finish my Cody and Flame Thrower Clone... It never ends  ;D

All right, finally, my reviews...

JETPACK CLONE

VEry nice, what makes this one, I think, is a fantastic paint job on the jet pack. Great colors that blend together well, yet still looks realistic and like an actual paint scheme from Star Wars.

ARC TROOPER

Another somewhat simple, but effective custom. The Commander Thire body matched up with the paintjob on the helmet quite nicely, and I like the little details you added to the helmet design. Is that an emblem on the left side of the helmet? And what of?

COMMANDER GORB

Very effective, makes me increase my desire to have a Green Commander in my OWN ranks. The new Kama does wonders for this guy; really makes him pop visually.  I'd suggest adding one design detail to make him stand out from Thire, though...some piece of equipment, or an ankle holster or something. Just to vary him up.

CLONE SNIPER

My favorite of the bunch. The kama looks good, and the gun design is a lot of fun. There's a lot of different elements working together here to make this a great Clone custom. The paint scheme is clearly Gorb's unit, but the AT-TE Gunner pauldron makes you realize this guy has a specilization. The binocs are great and make sense for what he does; glad you left them on. I also like how you brought in design elements from other clone units (ala the Coruscant Shocktrooper leg stripes.) Unique, and believable.

COMMANDER CODY

Looking pretty authentic so far...I'll reserve judgement until he's finished.

FLAMETHROWER CLONE

Great concept, and I like the Deluxe Jango gauntlet. I'd suggest running a length of hose from the gauntlet to the backpack, and maybe get a snap in flame, like the one that comes with the Dreadnok Torch figure, to add to the gauntlet. I'd also do something different with the helmet...maybe mix a little silver and green and paint the T-Visor, like it's filtered to protect his eyes from the bright glare of the flame.

All in all, another great addition to your ranks! Keep 'em comin'!

-DD

Thanks for the comments DD, I really appreciate them!
I really like the idea for the Flame Clone Trooper, I will definitely adjust his visor  8)
There is no emblem on the ARC Trooper, although that would be pretty cool too.  It's just a blast-mark  ;)
I think an ankle holster for Commander Gorb would look very cool, great idea!

Thanks for your comments, they were very helpful as always!  ;D

I've gotten behind on my comments/reviews - sorry!

JET PACK CLONE - Totally awesome paint job, makes me want to go play some more Battlefront... I hope when I finally make one that it looks half this good.

RED ARC - Looks very cool... I am a little confused on his helmet thought.  It looks great, but it seems his visor area is thinner than normal... or is it just me?

GORB - Wonderful... I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

SNIPER - Wow... what can I say?  This is truly a work of art... I love the gun too!

CODY - Man, you guys just keep getting better on this stuff... I would have a lot or trouble on this one.  Great job!

CLONE FLAMETHROWER - Awesome look to him so far, I can't wait to see the final result!

Thanks for the comments CHEWIE!  I love the feedback that I get here, it's very helpful!  ;D

I used the Ep. II Bootleg Clone Trooper for my ARC Trooper custom because I liked how it was slightly larger than the normal SA Clone Trooper helmet (Also, my EE Clones hadn't come in yet).  I kind of like that it's slightly different than the regular clone helmet, but I guess to some people it looks weird. :-\

I didn't mean that it looked weird, just different.  To be honest, I kinda like it more.  In the comics their helmets always seem much larger than a Clone helmet, so this works out very, very well.   :)

Glad to see JD.com back up and running!  I missed this place  :P

Here are a few more customs that I finished in the past couple of days:
General Grievous w/ball-jointed elbows:

SA Scout Trooper (made with a MicroMan body and a vintage Scout):

I added Stikfas ball-joints to the elbows of General Grievous, and then I repainted him.  I should probably lighten up the colors on Grievous, but I wanted to make him look really weathered.  I think I went a bit too "rotting bone"  ;)
For the Scout Trooper, I hollowed out the armor pieces and glued them onto the Microman body.  Pretty easy, but took a lot of time.  Still it was really fun ;D
Lemme know what you think!

Haha, good point.  I might take a few more pics of him on Endor...

We had briefly discussed the Scout Trooper over at www.ffurg.com - but I'm glad that this site is back up to see it here, as this is my true home.

Again, this is without a doubt, one of the absolute best and most creative customs I have ever seen.  That kind of work is totally out of my league!

Haha, thanks CHEWIE, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to tackle that one and probably do a better job that me.  All you need is a Dremel  ;)

Beautiful Scout Trooper. I wish they'd actually make soem figures like that, that'd be awesome.

Grievous' paint job isn't my favorite, but I really like what you did with him. top notch work.

Thanks Dimetrodon.  I'm thinking of repainting Grievous, but I'm not sure what color.  I ended up making my own color scheme because, as you can see, Hasbro wasn't sure what color he was  :P .  I guess I'll try doing a light gray dry brush on him and see how that turns out.

actually i think the most accurate color of Grevious is the one on the left in that pic of all three of them.  I remember in the movie his "armor" was more of a bone color.  Great Work!

P.S. How's the flame trooper coming along?
