I still cannot fathom how much this thing will end up costing once it's all said and done - it's gonna put a BIG hurt on next years budget, that's for sure!

Yeah, definitely going to be pricey...probably higher than my usual yearly budget, which would put it well out of reach for me.  Any guesses on the pricepoint?

These are very cool but unfortunately not practical in my collection.

I think Attakus went too far in developing these - meaning that they are so damn big (and I'm guessing expensive) that it may deter people from buying them.

If I had to guess, I'd say that each "half/set" will run $600.

I'm leaning towards the Dagobah set as my fav so far...

Unreal.  This is almost too big.  I really don't know where in the hell I could display something like this.  If I get one, I might just have to keep it boxed for a while before I could find room for it.

If it's the $500.00 ballpark, I will probably charge it on my credit card.  I have to have this if it's affordable.  If it ends up being much more than that though, I will have to unfortunately pass.

Here they are!

Does Chewie look familiar?  He should, he's based off of the large scale Attakus statue.

But they're not in here:

They should be up the ramp, right?  But I don't see them there either, from the back:

I'm sure it's an oversight, but they darn well better be there in the final product.

Hell, if they're on the 3.75 inch scale, you could use all those figures you already have!

Of course mine would look kinda silly with the cards on them as well!   :P
This is the way.

I have spoken.

I'm almost at the point now where I don't care what it costs, it will be mine!

Exactly what I am thinking. This is just about the modern SW era's answer to the USS Flagg. Gigantic and utterly impractical, but impossible to pass up. I’ll be buying it, regardless of space or cost (oh, the peril and the foolishness). It’s just too damn cool.

I’m actually thinking this may not be that bad of a display item, even at 5-odd feet long. It may be narrow enough that it will sit well inside of a wide display cabinet, which I’ve been thinking about getting for years. This is centerpiece material for a big display cabinet like that.

63"...where the heck do you display something that big?

There's a wealth of jokes here, but I'll refrain from working blue right now.

According to someone at the Evil Empire

The set will be around 2400 Euro which is around $3000

Figures are 80-100 Euro which is $125 a piece

Good Luck :o :o :o

$3000.00?  If that's true, count me out.  No way in HELL can I afford that.

Really, what a shame that they can't make something like this in plastic, sell it for $200.00 so more people can enjoy it.  This actually is starting to piss me off.

Wow.

$3k has got to be an error... right?   :-\

I think those guys are talking out of their butts on this one.  $125 for each figure?  BS.  Attakus charges that much for their regular line of statues and those things are way taller than 3.75".

Maybe they mean if you buy the diorama and ALL of the figures it'd run about $3k?  I don't know, it just doesn't feel right.

I'll wait for an official announcement before I get too upset about the price from some guy at RS...
