This would definitely be a cool line.  There are some interesting characters, certainly.  The one thing that would make this line a little tough to do is this:  the main character.  Yes, those of us who have played the game know that Darth Revan is the main character.  There is a distinct look to that character.  The tough part is which customizable character do you make of the redeemed/amnesia suffering Revan?  While it's very cool that you get to design your own character in KOTOR, I think that's one of the things that keeps Hasbro from making a redeemed Revan.  Which selectable person  would Revan look like?  I'm somewhat stumped about how Hasbro would do this myself.

I think the best way for hasbro to release KOTOR figures is to package them is packs of three. I will help them release them quicker and cheaper. that will give us more of a chance of getting them.

I like the idea.  I think the KOTOR characters would make some great action figures.

Of all of the EU sources, KOTOR and KOTOR2 are the two story-lines that figures NEED to be made for.

The depth of the characters in the games is fantastic.

I think it would be best to release them in four - five figure box sets. If they put some level of exclusivity to them and have them ship to only online and game stores (like Electronics Boutique) that might help too.

They could make four sets total:

KOTOR Set #1
Darth Malak
Bastilla Shan
T3-M4
Carth Onassi
Juhani

KOTOR Set #2
Darth Revan (as seen in flashbacks)
Canderous Ordo
Jolee Bindu
Mission Vao
Zaalbar

KOTOR2 Set #1
Darth Sion
Kreia
Visas Marr
HK-47
Bao-Dur

KOTOR Set #2
Darth Nihilous
Handmaiden
Mira
Mandalore
Atton Rand

There are also plenty of other characters from both games that I feel that there could even be a third set from each game:

KOTOR Set #3
Darth Bandon
Saul Karath
Calo Nord
Sith Trooper
Rakata

KOTOR2 Set #3
GO-TO
Disciple
Hanharr
Atris
Sith Assasin

Not to mention the fact that there's going to be a KOTOR3 game that will have even more characters and bad-guys/gals. I think Hasbro should definitely consider taping this part of the Star Wars mythos as we move further and further away from the movies.

I've posted about this on other forums so I won't bore with my list as well. I'll just agree that this line of figures is WAY over due. The problem with that is that because it's so over due, it's time has come and gone. They might sell, but not as well as within the first year after teh initial release of the game. Same for KOTOR II.

Republic Commando has something more going for it as those are Clones and there's not as many characters to choose from.

I would have loved to get these figures (Two years ago).

I'd still get them now, but since I'm an army builder and I'm winding down on that now, I'm just not as excited about KOTOR figs as I once was. Hasbro REALLY dropped the ball on this one. They saw the popularity of it and should have started R&D once the game became popular. The figs would have still been a year late, but that measn we would have had them a year ago by now. Same can just about be said with the Battlefront figs.

I'm not totally knocking the idea of KOTOR figs, just the timing.

I like them. I have no problem if they make more of them but really would like some more from other comic story line. Tales of the Old Republic, Freedom Nadd, Crimson Empire, Dark Empire, and new figures from Shadows of the Empire.
