Just as an update: I had the biopsy on my bladder on Wednesday morning- to make sure it's the same cancer that's in the rest of me. I was also going to have a stint placed since the tumor is blocking my kidneys, but the doctor said the tumor was so large he couldn't even get to the lines from my kidneys to check them. Radiation started right after I was released from the hospital. I'll have radiation to my abdomen and to my pelvic area 5 days a week. Then my chemo started yesterday- that will be once a week. They also upgraded the cancer after they looked at my scans- it's actually endometrial/uterine- and it's level 4b. I had a rough day Wednesday and Thursday, but I'm feeling much better today. They say that everything starts to kick in around 2 weeks after treatment starts. We will see.
