Explosions rock London.
« on: July 7, 2005, 06:25 AM »
Oh ****.

I'm thinking the worst, myself. A day after the announcement of the Olympics in London? In protest of the G8 summit? Hopefully, I'm just being paranoid.

Al Quieda is claiming responsibility for these attacks, and the killing of Australias head Envoy in Iraq.

May God be with London as they deal with the aftermath of these attacks.

Afghanistan and Iraq was a nice start, but as long as we have governments like those of Iran in power, leaving mints on the pillows of these murderers, providing aid and support and safe haven, these terrorist attacks are going to continue.  It's time to continue cleaning house over in that hell hole on the other side of the planet.
This is what happens when you invade Wakanda

Al Queda and it's ilk are scumbags.  It's unfortunate that they are not a part of one country becuase they would be much easier to deal with.   I pray for the Brits like I prayed for the 9/11 victims.

Not Al Qaeda - but a new previously unknown spin off.   Exactly the type of problem we're going to encounter more and more over the next decade or four.

****** news any way you slice it - anyone know if the bombers at least had the decency to include themselves?

From what was repoted it was 7 blasts
Packages most likely between 845 and 1016 am
Why do they go after just regular people??
Pisses me off to no end
Problem is these people will never go away , take out one and another will rise up to take its place.
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

Perhaps it was the French, angry at losing the Olympics?

Yeah, horrible time to joke, I'm sorry. I hope all our UK members are okay.

7 explosions. 7. Thats 7 groups of non-military targets. Thats 7 collections of families who will never be the same. It's a damned shame, it really is.

And Zod, I had the Al Quedia thing coming off of the TV, so I didn't have time to fact check.

I didn't hear about an Australian Diplomat being killed, but I did hear about an Egyptian envoy. Either way it's bad news.

:'( Prays go out to those who have been affected by these ******* ******** who think that they will do good by killing innocent people.  I hope all of our members from here and the other sites are okay.

So far they are not sure if its homicde bomber or not, there is a report right now saying that a supicous package has been found at a train station in the evening.  If it were homicde bombers hopefully the Brits can find they remains and burie them in pigs blood and entails so that for the rest of entinuity the ******** will be uncleaned.

Very sad, and obviously tragic.  Unfortunate (though likely intentional) that it had to occur just a day after London was celebrating getting the 2012 Summer Olympics, and during the G8 Summit in Scotland.  Granted, to me, this was just a matter of when, not if.

Damned terrorists.  >:(

Thoughts and prayers going out to everyone across the pond.  I hope Rob and the rest of our resident JD UK'ers are all OK too...

4 Planes - U.S.
4 Trains - Madrid (IIRC)
4 Subways (almost) - London

Why does 4 seem to be the magic number on all of these attacks on mass transportation?  ???

This makes me so angry.  That's about all I have to say about it other than like everyone else, my thoughts and prayers are with the folks over there.
