Hmmm.

I guess we'll see GI Jedi and My Little Taun-Taun before too long...  :P

I'm sure there will be TF collectors who are also SW Collectors who will grab these, but I will pass and use my $$$ for other stuff.

Let's Play Jeopardy!

THE ANSWER:  The Twin-Pod Cloud Car, an AT-TE Clone Walker, the continuation of the 7 inch Unleashed line, and a modular Death Star playset.

THE QUESTION:  What could the money devoted to the design and development of the Star Wars Transformers line have been used for instead?

The one that looks even remotely decent is the Jedi Starfighter.  It's the only one that really transforms from a SW vehicle to a big ass ******* robot.

Still not buying it, though.

Likely a pass for me as well, unless I buy one just for novelty's sake.  If they had made them more like traditional Transformers, and not tried to make the SW ships look like "characters" so much, I think they would be better received.  That said, the kids (and TF collectors) might love them.  I know that one of our nephews really likes anything relating to Transformers.  I know I probably would have found them pretty cool when I was a kid, at the height of SW and Transformer (Gen 1) popularity.

I hate to admit it, but I agree.  Although I'm certainly not in a big hurry to buy one of these, I may have to grab one to open and display.  I have a heck of a time passing on anything Darth Vader related, so if I come across this, it'll likely end up in my cart.   ::)

I actually like the idea, but now that I have seen what they look like I know I can resist them.  I am  sure some kids are gonna go for them though.  If these would have been released when I was a kid I would have been asking for all of them.

Once again, I will get suckered into buying something just because it's Darth Vader.  Damn this addiction.

They are better executed than I thought they'd be.  I honestly was expecting trucks or boats or something.  That they put in enough thought to have relevant star wars vehicles is cool.

But I won't buy any.

Funny, the Transformer fans on thier forums seem to really like them, but the SW fans seem to dislike them.  I won't go as far as to say Hate them like the Froce Battler Obi.

Anyone know hoew common it is for the Transformer line to be a cross-collectible?  Meaning do they produce transformers that tie in to other licenses?

Weird.

They actually look very good.  My friend Sugu is a TF freak, and he'll be all over these.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen a pic of this one - Darth Maul.  I'm wouldn't buy it, but it's better than some of them.  :-\

Boba Fett is kinda, well... meh.
