Yowsa is right.

So 90 seconds per pick = 4 hrs.

I'm sure the first couple rounds will seem pretty chaotic, but once we get a feel for how the system works, it should get easier as we go.

The trick will be to be somewhat prepared by having a list of players for each category (C, LW, RW, D, G, BN).

OK, so after writing that, I want to be sure I understand this.  We are supposed to have 2 each of C, LW, RW, G and 4 D "active" at any one time, right?  So, those 4 extra BN players could actually be any position?

That's my class schedule, all times are in Mountain. I don't have access to a computer at during class, so evenings are best for me, preferably Sunday-Weds (or Thursday depending on time) or during the days Sat and Sunday. I'm flexible on early Fridays though.

The bench players can be any position, but obviously you'd probably like to have 1 D, 1 LW, 1 RW, 1C should any of your guys get hurt or underproduce.  Otherwise those numbers are correct.

Evenings will be best.  I suggest we try to schedule 2-3 nights specifically for the draft.  We could do the first night (3-4 rounds) fairly soon as those picks are quite easy to make.

Yahoo has nearly complete player lists, around 700+ skaters and about 70 goalies.  You can sort it by position with Yahoo's rankings.

As an aside, I've had a hard time finding any publications for fantasy pools lately regarding hockey.  I think the lockout might have had an impact :P

I thought you old guys knew everything there was to know about hockey, so why would you even need a magazine?   :o

But yeah, I can't find anything either.   :-X

Well, sorta.  But there are those senile moments where I forget things.

Seriously though, there is crap all out there.  I've checked in numerous large and small stores, in the city and in country towns where hockey is religion and nada.  I can find the hockey news, but that's about it. I still have one from 03/04, I guess I'll use that.

That's fine Kevin, the 24th is tomorrow, a Wednesday.

Friday night is out. (26th)  I believe Jesse is away anyway at that time.

Mikey and Kevin don't need sleep anyway.  And 9 pm would work better for me as well.

Still working on 24th, 9 PM central (10 board time), 2 minutes per pick (or thereabouts). 3-5 rounds?

I'm completely unprepared for the draft at this point - but if everyone else can make it, I'll do my best to be there.

I know this has probably been said a few times in this thread, but my computer shows that board-time is EST.  Is that standard for everyone, or is that something that everyone can set on their own?

How about I just post my first few picks now so everyone knows to leave those guys alone so they are there when my picks come up...

Brodeur, St. Louis, Nash, Kovalchuk Iginla.

Sounds good?

Cool, Thanks!   :-*
