After RofTK, I wonder how long this line will last. I must have all these figures. :)
I love LOTRs.

It might have legs.  Peter Jackson is apparently interested in making "The Hobbit" after some time away from Middle Earth.  Apparently, he wants to make a splatter movie or two before he takes on that Tolkienn book.

Right now I am reading the Silmarillion for the first time, it is one of the most amazing books I have ever read.  The Hobbit makes sense in terms of tying the Ring trilogies with a Prequel, but how about the ultimate Prequel a movie of Biblical proportions and attempting to make the Silmarillion...I want it :-*

I really hope Jackson goes back and makes "the prequel"...  He's absolutely got to!  It seems like a total no-brainer to me.  Ian McKellan has already said he was all for it as Gandalf again (though he thought a TV mini-series would be fun...  NOT!).  I'll be eternally pissed if this project doesn't eventually come to fruition.  They owe it to all of the new (and old) LOTR fans they've created with these incredible movies.  Plus, The Hobbit can obviously be done as a stand-alone, solitary movie - no more long and drawn out trilogy concerns.  Nice and easy, plus a faster paced story which should help...   8)

But just don't make us wait too long now Mr. Jackson!   ;)

While I would love a The Hobbit movie, it won't happen until at least another 3+ years while Jackson remakes King Kong

King Kong definitely sounds like it's a priority for Jackson to do first.  I can certainly understand him taking a break from the whole world of Middle Earth for a while.  When it comes to making The Hobbit, I'm curious if Ian Holm will be up to the challenge of the lead role.

I picked up the LOTR 5 Helm's Deep 5 Pack Today at TRU, very nice set.  I really like Haldir!

Nice score Scott.  No TRU around here (and I guess the one in Appleton is closed for remodeling in to a "Geoffrey" store) so I had to order one on-line.  I've seen pictures of it at Geb's web site and Haldir looks sweet.  I'll have to check my order and see if mine is shipping yet.

The Gimli that comes with this set was the one that was supposed to come in Wave 4 or 5 correct?  The only bummer is I alread have an armored King Theoden and Legolas

My only questions about the 5-pack are these:  Which Legolas is it?  And, when is it coming out?  :)

I've held off on buying armored Theoden, but I already have the Aragorn and both TTT Legolas'.  But, I can't wait to see the Haldir figure!

Really?  If it is, then I can return the one I have, since I haven't opened it yet.  Yipee!
