Oh yeah, baby. I hope they don't end up out of stock or something. That would really bite.

I'm glad I only had to pay $20 instead of $150 on ebay.

Of course, this could be the store that had those cases of Twilight Frodo cooked up for 'em. Oh well, whatever.

Hours later, it's still in stock, so I would figure they got solid cases.  I'll bet they got solid cases of Eowyn, PEW, and Galadriel, too, which is why those figs are still in stock days after going up on the site.

That's probably true. Now they need full cases of Prologue Bilbo and Crossbow Uruks. Yeah, baby.

The only "I've got a bad feeling about this" Is what happened with Ephant Mon earlier this year.  It was in stock for a really long butt time and when push came to shove, no Ephants for a lot of people.  Worth the $20 chance though

Check your local Suncoasts, if ye have them. I hit the jackpot, finding every figure released in the ROTK line thus far, including Prologue Bilbo. Since I just ordered TWF, I couldn't really afford Gandalf and Aragorn, but I got Bilbo and Armored Eowyn.

I'm on quite a plastic high right now. :)

Bilbo is pretty cool.  He comes with a ton of stuff.  Besdies his doorway back-drop, he has a bed rool and pan you can attach to his backpack.  A walking stick, Sting and the Mithral (sp?)coat.    Articulation is decent enough and the sculpt is good.  All in all, one of the better figures from the first set (as even on the red card, it's still the same as the green card)*

As for TF, I was thrilled to get one.  I know it's twice the price but I wanted this one and it's worth it.  I've been able to fill in a lot of holes lately with KB online and it sure is nice.  Now, all I need is the Easterling....

*Edit*= the Biblo I have in my hands and am remarking on is the one that came on the red card and has no ring on his hand but does have articulated knees and his elbows and wrists turn.  I shouldn't have assumed that the green carded one was the same as I have never had one.  Sorry about that...

I'm nearly positive that the Prologue Bilbo has the body from the articualted Pippin from the TTT line. It has a new head and the Ring sculpted into his hand. Also, he features Sting, the one that came with the Frodo from the Elven boat pack. But, it's still a cool figure, and it's a shame TB decided to short pack it.

Insert gratuitous comment about KB.com at this point based on their response to Canadians ordering from their site.  Yes, I gripe constantly about Canada, but this is one point that really irks me. >:(

I have had success with ordering from K.B. online and "I am Canadian"
Is there anywhere you guys post cupon codes for K.B. for free shipping, discounts ect?

I collect LOTR and chances of me finding the new figs on my trips to the U.S. are slim to none and there is no way to find out if they will come to Canadian retail :'(

Here's the one I used last week:

NEWBROWSEKB

If you order $40.00 or more worth of stuff you get $5.00 (it ended up free shipping for me).  Don't know if it had an expiration date.

Hey Kevin, I think we discussed this at the other site, but how are you pulling it off?  I ordered, gave a US delivery addy (JIm or chuckles) and received an email saying sorry, because your credit card is in Canada, we cannot fill the order.

How'd you do it?

Beth, I replied to your pm.

I have a m/c (Wells Fargo) for work and it turns out their head office is in the U.S., simple as that. I figured it would get turned down since the billing address is in Canada but both orders came through. They did turn down me CIBC visas in the past.
Seems they made my billing address someplace named Cherrypoint, Washington (never been there never heard of it) and shipped to my Blaine Wash. addy.

I think I mentioned about the K.B. gift cards, you can use them online so if you have a friend in the states that can get one for you, you only need the number off the card to order, not the card. I have done this in the past.

Thanks for the info on the cupon jadesfire, used the 20% off any amount, saved me a bundle, worth keep your eyes out for them.
