Group project plans for september
« on: August 12, 2005, 01:43 AM »
I want to do another group project next month for september. This one I propose will be a little challenge between customizers here at JediDefender and over at FFURG. Each site will have a different character subject. We will see which site comes up with the most creative figures. There is a simular thread going on at FFURG.

Let's come up with some ideas for JediDefender to work on. I suggest 'customs of us' for here. (because some of you are real characters!)  ;D Any other character ideas?

Okay,I'll do one of myself. But where can I find a skeleton with a mop on its head in SW scale? If not I guess I can embellish a little. ;D

Are you serious?  ;D I may have to find that one. AS far as the project is concerned, Do we have to do customs of our everyday selves or in the context of the SW universe? Like say Jedi Scott or something like that?

What do you say we offically open this group project on monday morning? It would then run until the end of September. That will give plenty of time to get parts, talk and show off work in progress pictures.

If I did me circa three years ago, I'd sculpt a t-shirt over jabba the hutt, but I lost a lot of weight, so as of now, if we do customs of us, I'd do a little thickening of the cheeks and glasses to a jango head and slap it on a figure with jeans. :P

I'm all in for customs of us if ever I found the time.

Sounds good to me.  Let it begin on Monday.  But I will not be able to get started on my stuff probably until next weekend.

Ive got  a pretty good idea of what I'm using for Snoova. If i can snag me a VOTC Chewie that would be great. BUt since those things are as rare as an honest politician looks like I'm gonna have to go with a Wookie Warrior or a Sneak Preview wookie. Im trying for size on that one. Ive snagged some killer chest armor from a Mummies alive figure i had laying around for Snoovas armor, and It fits rather well on just about all the wookies ive got.

As far as the Mug shot one for this board I'm looking for a VOTC luke body. Its got the scrawnyness I require for an accurate representation. Id love to get an Anakin evolution head for my dashing good looks.  ;D But it looks like I'll have to deal with one of the pegwarmers for that one. ;D If anyone could help with any of this stuff PM me. Ive got tomorrow off so I'm going to be working  on some of them all day.
