Okay, who the hell is calling at this hour?

Mini-you?

No, it's Joe Horn, WR 3rd round selection of Dressel's Rebellion!

"Hey Dressel, I'm in the end zone at training camp, KJ and TO got a call from the Kats, you gotta take me next man, gotta go I'm low on minutes and they're gonna hit me with another $30K fine..."

Looks to me like Matt Carroll is on the clock - and I have his pick, so I'll be making it in a couple of minutes unless you can justify why Sith Lord Chaos is infact on said clock.

Sorry for the delay.  I checked an hour ago, but must have been on just prior to Zod making the pick for Matt.

I hope you didn't need healthcare ;)

Quick question, would you have taken Gonzalez if I had not?

Is SLC not around a computer during the day?

Did he send picks to anyone?

No, I don't think he sent them to anyone Rob.  He was supposed to send them to Kevin, but as he indicated last night he didn't receive them.  Maybe he's travelling back today.  I recall seeing him online during the day previously.

Thanks too for answering the question.  I remembered Matt drafting him early last year and figured with two picks before my next one, he'd likely take him.  Like any draft, I'm already second guessing my picks ::)

I was initially intent on taking a TE in round 3 this year, but with Tony Gonzalez's chronic foot injury aggravated this weekend after the offseason surgery he had, and Antonio Gates threatening to sit out the first 10 weeks of the season because of contract squabbles, I said to hell with it and went with a first rate WR.  There are few surer things in football than Joe Horn's stats over the past 6 seasons.

Wow, we got through an amazing 1/6th of a round today.  Maybe we should be PMing or emailing a hierarchy of our picks to someone that's around the net during the day if one was to anticipate that they won't be on all day.  Ughem juan, SLC  :D
