The teams do look pretty balanced at this point.

I don't think Jordan or Whitten are bad selections. Jordan should benefit from extra attention being paid to Moss and Porter, although you do have to wonder about how big of a role Crockett will play, especially at the goal line. Nonetheless, Scott has three legitimate starting RB's on his roster, which a good number of us won't be able to say when all is said and done.

Whitten has good numbers for a TE, and should give Kevin an edge at that position in most matchups.

Yeah, but Jordan has been in the league for 4 years, played all but 2 games, and his career year, his best foot forward so far, has been 479 yards and 2 TDs. 

LOL, I don't know if any of you guys have seen this Terrell Owens interview on ESPN, but it sounds like TO might not even play a game this year.  He hates everyone on that team, and doesn't even speak to them.

James Stewart is the best example that comes to mind of a career back up who went to prominence as a starter on a new team.  The potential is there, I've seen him ranked between 21 to 28th overall and at 31 he was good value over a dime a dozen QB or question mark receivers such as Matt Hasselback or Darrell Jackson

I've seen LaMont Jordan ranked fairly highly in the backs at many places as well, and as far as I've heard, he's supposed to be the "feature back" for Oakland this year.  Not a bad pick at all, especially considering you already have Dillon and James.  If anything, it always pays to be stacked up at running back in these leagues it seems.  Plus, there are always some surprise players every year that no one expected.

LaMont Jordan is going to get WAY more carries this year.  The reason he didn't last year?  Because he was the backup to the guy who won the NFL rushing title last year, Curtis Martin.  Somehow I think LaMont is gonna get more carries in Oakland this year.  Good scouting on this one, Scott.  Especially since defenses are going to have a hard time defending Jordan along with Randy Moss and Jerry Porter.

Go ahead and find me a better receiver than D-Jack over the past couple seasons that was available.  Who was it, Hines Ward?  He might not even play this year.  Darrell Jackson had 1,200 yards and 7 TDs last year, and the year before that 1,100 yards and 9 TDs.

That's not #2 WR worthy behind Joe Horn?  I got the 5th and 11th best WRs in football behind my backs LaDainian Tomlinson and Domanick Davis.

If Darrell Jackson is a "question mark receiver" with 2,300 yards and 16 TDs in the past 2 seasons, I hate to see what you call LaMont Jordan, who is heading into his fifth year and who's best year was 470 rushing yards with 2 scores.  Oh yeah, but LaMont Jordan has "potential" and that's what you're supposed to do with your 3rd round pick, throw it on the wheel for an unproven starter.

Yes, it did.  But I did my rankings before his latest antics, though after hearing of a potential holdout.  TO is a huge risk with a potential huge payoff.  He paid off last year, but I don't know if he will this year.
