Man, the Bug really fell asleep at the wheel on that one.  Kevin caught him with his pants down there.

And I'd appreciate it if he'd stay out of my closet from now on, too.

What in the hell is a clothset?

And before you twins get your panties too worked up in excitement think about this:

In just 8 games last year, Priest racked up 15 touchdowns. That was more than McGahee, Edgerrin, Martin and Dillon. And of that group, only Dillon missed a game in 2004.

I've got Gonzalez as well.  You probably didn't notice but he also plays for the Chiefs.  Now if you pin heads think the best strategy in the world is drafting all the players from one team, well, you're welcome to it.  I would think though that Sr. might recall Jr. did just that last year with some fairly limited success.  So limited in point of fact that for some reason Jr. has an entirely different strategy this year.

Yeah, my pants were down. ::)

Here's to you, Brent.

Larry Johnson, RB

Kevin

Damn you! and Damn Scott!

Both of the two guys I wanted, taken back-to-back within 5 picks of my turn.

The Golden Girls are currently unavailable due to Grad-School orientation - as soon as I can get ahold of her I'll get a pick from her.

It's not about players from one team - it's about Holmes being a huge injury risk and LJ being the one who's almost guaranteed to see extended playing time this year and will score lots of touchdowns in those stretches.

"Johnson is the one backup you have to have. When Preist Holmes and Derrick Blaylock went down last season, this guy tore it up, flashing suprising receiving chops and eyebrow-raising explosivness. Better still, he tightened up his blocking to earn the trust of KC's coaches. With Blaylocks departure to the Jets and Holmes' injury history, he's now a smarter pick (say, sixth round) than some prokected NFL starters."-ESPN Fantasy Magazine

Larry Johnson is Priest Holmes, when Priest isn't himself.

Larry Johnson would never have made it to your next pick Zod. That's who I was wanting to take with my next selection. Now it's back to the drawing board.  ::)

I've got three starting RB's.

You guys know that Holmes will go down?  Anyone else you know will go down?

BTW, Kevin, your post says Holmes and Blaylock went down.  I guess the answer to my question above is that the other guy you two know is going to go down is Blaylock.  Damn, you guys are good.

It's not about players from one team - it's about Holmes being a huge injury risk and LJ being the one who's almost guaranteed to see extended playing time this year and will score lots of touchdowns in those stretches.

I get that, that's why I took higher rated running backs in Dunn and Foster early on.  I've got my back covered without presuming an injury.  Will Holmes get injured?  Sure, quite possibly.  So might Tomlinson, Alexander and James, among others.  Do they have a history of injuries like Holmes recently?  Nope, not necessarily.  But if you think taking a backup solely on the premise of an injury is a better strategy than having three starting guys, y'all are welcome to it.

For Johnson to have that year again you need to have Holmes and Blaylock injured, otherwise if only Holmes is injured Blaylock and Johnson will split the carries.

Let the record show I had nothing to do with the little tike dreaming that one up.

 :D

Yeah, sure.  Anyone outside of Kevin believe that.  Playboy doesn't count Kev.
