I was optimistic when I went out four hours ago.

Hint: people keep retyping the draft list so you can see who's already been picked.  Just so we don't all keep drafting LaDainian Tomlinson. ;)

Nice pick.  Cross another off my list.

I don't think we'll see Jim tonight, first thing tomorrow though I'm sure he'll be in.

Damn, I was hoping he'd slip by to my next pick.

One more and you're out. And you get stuck with Ricky Williams.  ;)

If you guys let him slip to my next pick, he'll probably be mine.  I only have a couple players ahead of him on my list.

Funny that you'd say that because I've been sitting here thinking about taking him - of course, it's also a situation where you could be trying to trick some sap into taking him - but like I said, I was already thinking about it.

Practically half of my team is high-risk, potential high-reward, so why the hell not?

Steve McNair, QB
Ricky Williams, RB

I'm not sure about him.  Being out for a year like that can't be good.  Plus with Ronnie Brown there its a potential for splitting carries.  Same goes for Benson and Jones in Chicago (If Benson ever signs that is)

Gotta hope for injury in some of those situations.

I considered McNair for a while too but his sternum scares me.  Good value here though

It's a good pick at this point. I think I would have taken him if he was still available with my next pick.

Can I just say how impressed I am with this league? People have done their homework (or at least they are faking it well), as evidenced by all the mentions of people targeting the same players. I've seen many players I've wanted snatched up right before multiple times, especially by Scott and malloc. I'm really looking forward to the season.

Plus Ricky Williams fits in nicely with the Problem Children theme with Moss and Jamal "Don't Drop the Soap" Lewis.  The thing I find funny about Ricky Williams is that he was a whining baby just like Terrell Owens, except Owens was trying to get more money, and Ricky Williams was just trying to smoke more weed.

Still and all, good upside there.
