I always liked Admiral Motti.  If Vader wasn't choking him, a fish bone was.  ACK!! ACCCK!!

I'd say either Stormtrooper Luke or Boba Fett.

That's a tough one, but I'll have to go with holo Leia R2.  That was a great figure.

Probably Grand Moff Tarkin would have to be my favorite fig in the POTF2 line.  I always wanted one and for some reason they didn't make a vintage figure of him. :'(

Runners up would be Removable helmet Vader and removable hand Luke.  Those were works of art.

Admiral Ackbar because he's been one of my favorite figures since the vintage line and the sculpt is dead-on.

When people listed "sandtrooper" here, I'm assuming they meant the POTJ version and not the POTF2 version.  Because the POTF2 version looks hideous next to CT stormies and POTJ sandies.

And now for business:

Removable helmet Vader

Runners up:

Ree-Yees
CT stormie
Snowtrooper
Orrimaarko
Gamorrean Guard
Mon Mothma
Momaw Nadon
Ewoks: Wicket and Logray 2 pack
Klaatu, Nikto, Barada 3 pack
CT Jawa with gonk
Lak Sivrak
Muftak
Bossk
4-Lom
Ugnaughts
Ackbar
EV9D9
Pote Snitkin
Weequay
CT Greedo

It's a toss up between Removable helmet vader and Holo-Leia R2 for me.
R2 was one of the first really good R2's and Vader still holds up very well today.

My favourite?  I know it sounds strange, but it's the first wave of figures:

Ben(Obi-Wan)Kenobi
C-3PO
Chewbacca
Darth Vader
Han Solo
Luke Skywalker
Princess Leia Organa
R2-D2
Stormtrooper

Why?  For purely sentimental reasons.  Without these steroid freaks we'd never have progressed to the quality we have today.  :)

Now, in terms of quality of sculpt, I'd choose the AT-AT Driver and CT Stormtrooper, as well as Ree Yees, Gamorrean Guard, Admiral Motti, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Grand Moff Tarkin.

I was really young when this line first came out, so I can't really remember, but I think my favorite figure was Darth Vader.
