This doesn't have to necessarily relate strictly to "other collectibles", or even to just Star Wars. As I've been weighing options lately (with input from the Mrs.) on what collectible lines I might branch off into, if any, the issue of price is definitely a big point. It just got me to thinking about how much is too much to spend for a collectible. I think everyone has a different "top dollar" depending on budget, but I was just curious what was the most some of you have spent (or would spend) on a single, individual collectible. I know I am a definite lightweight, due to budget constraints, so I think the most I've spent for a single item in my collection was for the POTJ B-Wing ($40 plus tax). That's the highest I can think of off hand. Of course, that doesn't help the cumulative total for the year(s) when you factor in all the figures, glasses, misc, etc. There have been items I've considered, but the timing just hasn't worked out yet (FX Lightsabers, Gentle Giant Mini Busts, and SW Kubricks in particular). Anyways, if you don't mind sharing that is, what is the most you have ever spent on an individual piece in your collection?
