And the world is back on the proper axis.  Jersey wins, as they should.  Prior to the announcement if all is really well, then Gigeure gets the Conn Smythe and Brodeur gets the Vezina.

3-0, the right guy got the shutout.  Wonder where Matt#1 is ;D

Big boo to the Jersey fans in the arena for not cheering louder for Gigeure >:(  There was no doubt.  I probably would have suggested he get it even had they not made the final.  Geez people, show some class.  Even the cruddy CBC announcers are downplaying it.  Yeah, they applauded.  About 2500 of them.

I've got to agree.  That was pretty classless of the Jersey fans.  I don't think there was any doubt that Jiggy was the Conn Smyth winner

Congrats to the Devils...but the Wings will be back next year

From what it sounds like he will be back in 2003-04 season.  He wanted to see if they made the playoffs and how far they get so I think this has made it look like its a done deal.  I know before game 6 the commeators were saying how Kriya was happy to hear he is coming back.  Unfourtautly I need to get use to him not wear number 8 anymore I think since another player has it.

Wonder where Matt #1 is ;D

Sorry, I've been busy jumping back off the bandwagon...   ;D   :P

I kid, I kid...  Ugh.  Another heartbreaker - and this time it really was a heartbreaker, unlike when the favored Raiders and Lakers both lost.  Just seemed like the Ducks were that Cinderella team that was supposed to win it all, after making such an improbable journey all the way to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals (kinda like the neighboring Angels not long ago).  But alas, it wasn't meant to be.  Winning for the first time ever in Jersey was just too much to tackle.  The Devils played great though, and deserved it.  But the Ducks put one helluva run together, and gave their fans something to really be proud of!

Tough watching Jiggy cryin' at the end there, and then getting booed by most of the classless Jersey fans in attendance...   >:(

So... how 'bout dem Dodgers?!   :-*

Congrats to the Ducks for a great run and to Giggy for a great playoff performance.

The Devils, on the other hand, will get nothing from me.  Go here for all your answers.

Rookies fire up late September, full training camp early October.  So by the time Canadians can buy another Walmart star wars figure, hockey should have begun anew.

I was at the Pond today to celeberate they first Western Conference win.  It was really nice to be they with other Duck fans and being able to see the players and get some bad pictures of them since I don't have a zoom on my camrea.  :'(  There was almost a riot where I was because the staff planners were going to allow the fans to move up a lot closer to the stage but they were going to start opening the barricade in the middle which would mean all of us who got there early (6:45 am) ended up getting a bad place.  Eventually they allowed us to go first then those who came later.  I wish I bought a marker so I could of gotten auto's.  I wonder if I'm on TV I need to check. ;)
