I'm glad you guys like him.

I've finished my Acrobat figure from the Circus of the Dammed segment of the Star Wars Holiday Special. If my wife isn't hogging the computer again, I'll post it tonight.

I've finished my Wazzan girl acrobat from the Circus of the Dammed holo-video that Chewbacca's son Lumpy watched during the Star Wars Holiday Special. I think she needs some more feathers for her head.

Holy crap!  That is one cool, yet twisted looking custom Phruby.  Clearly a lot of work went into this.  You never cease to amaze me with some of the more difficult projects you tackle!

Are the lines on her painted on her torso?  They look so factory made, they look perfect!  How did you do that?

The head kind of has a "superhero" look to it actually.  I guess it's just the design though,  nothing that you did wrong.

 :P

Thanks Chewie! Now you know why I couldn't get her finished by Halloween. Mixing the right shade of paint too forever and finding some thread that acted like feathers in this scale wasn't easy. The lines are actually a decale I made with photoshop. I love that Testors Custom Decale System. I just wish the paper wasn't so expensive.

That show goes to prove that Carrie Fisher was adopted. She did receive any of the vocal skills of her parents.

WOW phuby, this is really an incredible custom.
You really took the time to add every bit of detail and
it paid off.

Nice idea for the decals it's perfect.

Add a little more hair an round the eyes and she would be perfect.

She does have a Spirer-woman type of thing going for her chewie.

the color on that acrobat is amazing Phruby, an excellent match to the reference photo. i would just add some more feathers/hair as others said, other than that looks amazing to me.

the scary thing is now that i see how great your custom turned out  i want to do a Holiday Special figure :o

everyone is also forgetting the great Bea Arthur aka Maude "singing" in the cantina sequence...now that would qualify as one of the spookiest customs ever if it was made  :o

I have her planned also. You should do one Ripley. By the way, how is your chest buster red guard coming along?

Wow, that really turned out great!

I love the way you incorporated the real feathers - very cool "soft goods" addition!

Fantastic paint job on the torso pattern too!
