This was posted at scum and ffurg, but never here. So i'm including photos from the beginning.
Here are the progress pics.  She was sculpted in wax and cast in white plastic.

The cape is made from Bake and bend sculpey.

It sculpey that stays flexible after you bake it. It sands and holds paint like regular sculpey.

The cape is made in two pieces. the cape and the hood. The ties are made with little balls of sculpey rolled onto some floss.

Card comming soon.

Wow, all of it looks very nice Glassman.  I do think her eyes seem a bit big and alien-like, but I suppose that's the animated style.  Great job on I'm sure what was a difficult figure to create!

Thanks chewie,  As always, i see the things i did wrong after the photo.
The eyes are too far apart.  The size is about right, could be a bit bigger.

It was my first attemt at a completely sculpted figure. I've shelved it and comback to it, along the way picking up better techniques, but really didnt want to start over with her.

While doing alot of JLU figures i see thing about sculpted annimated faces that i didnt before.

I'm tempted to tackle the head again. Just hope its not another 8 months befre she's finished.

I see what you mean now about the eyes.  They're not too big at all, maybe just a little too far apart.  I still think it's outstanding work though.

I can see what you mean about the eyes. If I did this one, I'd probably pass the figure on to someone else to paint the eyes. I would just mess it up. My favorite part of this custom is the cape. I like the little tassels and the flowingness of it. I wish the legs moved. They seem pretty solid. Otherwise, the shape of the body is right on the mark! Very cartoonish hot. Like Jessica Rabbit hot.

Thanks phurby,  I did the legs that way because the hasbro ones dont have leg articulation. Otherwise i  would have.  To be honest, they did have articulation, I sculpted them seperatly to make them articulated, but then i realized that hasbros didnt, so i made the legs one piece with the torso.

I am going to re-do the head though...real soon.

Nice work Glassman!  I really wish I knew how to sculpt and cast parts, you're results are always perfect!  The cape (and the fur lining) is really well done!
Aside from the wide-set eyes, I'd say this is way better than anything we could possibly expect from hasbro.

Thanks Grego, I'm sure hasbro could have made a great figure, but they just dont seem to get it when it comes to which figures to make.

I would have taken this figure over a second version of anakin anyday.

Glassman, any plans to make a non-animated version of her?  I bet you'd do one heck of a job.

Super Articulated Bacara and Galactic marines.

Bacara : Super Articulated Clone Body, Cast Tank gunner head and cast hollow bacara helmet. The rest of his gear came from bacara.

Galactic Marines: torso and arms #33 clone commander, Heads cast Tank gunner and Speeder Bike Clone, the shoulder pauldrons were casts as well. I took two #33's and spliced them so there was no big shoulder pad, just small on each side. I then made a mold of that.
The Skirts are cast form bacara's
The legs are Clone pilot on one  and Snow trooper on the other. Couldnt decide which one i wanted to go with, so i did both.
The helmets are hollow casts of snow trooper with most of the helmet detail sanded off.

WHOA!  Great stuff Glassman!
The removable helmets are perfect!  Did you have to significantly modify the Snowtrooper and Clone Pilot legs or did they fit?
I really want to learn how to cast pieces so that I won't have to drop the $$$ on AT-TE Tank Gunners and Clone Evo packs  ;)

Outstanding work... the Bacara is exactly how I made mine... except mine doesn't have the removable helmet feature.  Guess I should maybe do that too!

The Galactic Marines are outstanding.  I think I prefer the snowtrooper legs on them like the one on the right... that's a good idea on the shoulder pauldrons too.  I should add those to mine.
