Phurby, I stopped carding my clones and have been putting them on my shelf now,  I got too many to hang on the wall now....But i just thought about it and i do have a jabba dancer cinema scene box i could use...
I'll see what i can come up with.

Gregor, Thanks man. The clone pilot legs dont fit perfectly, the pegs need to be shortened or the legs will stick out. Then they need to be shortend at the top(where it meets the pelvis)

Thanks Chewie, I prefer the Snowtrooper legs casue the boots are more accurate and the pegs fit like a charm. I took an 1/8" out to lessen the height casue they are a bit tall.
I wish they had more articuatuion. I may look into the Saga version, but i had the POTF version in my fodder drawer.

I really dig the Padme. I don't know why Hasbro never made her. Its probably alot of work to cast an actual figure. Ive just begun trying my hand at castings heads.

I love the Bacara and Galactic Marines. Bacara is how we should of gotten it in the first place. At least with the articulation. Definately you should do a Cinema Scene with those gunning down Ki Adi.   ;D
I remember my dream now.

Thanks meta, casting heads is where i started also, then arms and legs and then whole figures.

It's just a few additional parts.

as for bacara, That's just how i saw the cinema scene in my head. we''ll see.

Those galactic marines are beyond Hasbro quality.  Glassman, you are one of the undisputed customizing kings, amazing stuff.  I guarantee if Hasbro ever makes the galactic marine, it won't be that good.

Hasbro sure as heck won't go the extra mile and give these guys removable helmets, that's for sure. Probably much 'em up with a useless action feature as well.

Really love these, Glassman. Great work. What color red did you use on the armor?

Thanks DD, I mix paints, so the color is made up.
I mixed some British Crimson and black and a drop of white to dull it a bit.
And a speck of blue casue it wasnt purple enough.

I used Model masters Acryls.

Hope it helps.

Holy crap!  Usually I prefer loose figures, but I can't believe how cool your custom Padme looks in a package.  Extremely well done.

Nice. But why the mixing of ALL CAPS for the PADME and Sentence Case for Amidala?

The Lowercase is a mistake. It should be like PADME  with the big A adn midalla in smaller letters.
Good eye.

Funny thing, Last night i was cleanning up my work area, and i found the Sheets i printed to replace the Lowercase mistake. I just didnt notice when i was carding it. I printed these so long ago.

Here is the blank template for the Sparation of the twins.
They are shaped the same as the Saga 2006 card.
So you can get started on carding some figs!

Here is what they look like.

Well guys, as promised, i'm back with some new customs.

Since most customizers these days can't seem to shake the clone bug, i figured, why fight it.

I wanted to do somthing a bit different though. I had fun making vintage snoova, so i felt like doing some more.

What if, George Lucas didint wait 20 years to make the prequels...Would the clone action figures look like this??

Vintage Clone trooper Evolution

The torso was sculpted in wax for the 2 clones.
I took a cast of vintage stromie's arms and legs, and sculpted on top of them for the clone's armor.

Then i added the head of the Bootleg Clone ( the one that had the marching clone) and made a cast of that.
Same for the Ep III clone, except i used the head of the Galactic heroes. His skirt is a piece of plastic from a 3-ring binder.
The sand trooper, i just sculpted on the pauldron and the back pack. Then made a mold an cast.
The great Bantha 5 made one of these years ago, and i almost contacted him to see if i could get one for this projrct, but i stopped being lazy and made my own.

Here are more shots.

Here they are compared to the kenner product.

I am waiting for a vintage rifle to arive so i can cast a couple and give them all guns.
Then i'll card em.

So for now, let me know what you think!

I commented more at RS, but wanted to repeat here how impressed I really am with this work.

Be proud of yourself, man. This set is *art*.
