Wow mate the card backs look bloody awesome they really turned out exremley well and the vintage style troopers are great you could imagine if they made them back then this is how they would've looked.

Not really into cardbacks (although you're great at them) or vintage stuff - but holy crap, that Evolutions set is one of the coolest customs I think you've ever made, and that's a major compliment.  If they were to do some sort of online exclusives like that for a nostalgia factor, some people would be having heart attacks.  Very well done as always!

Wow!  Those are really cool!

I love seeing custom carded stuff since I think that shows off double the skills (the figure and the card  ;)).  Seeing stuff like this always makes me wish they would just use those vinty cards for the current figures!

Thanks Jeff, and thanks agian for rushing those rifles to me.

I agree, I love carded customs. I wish more were into it.
I love to see vint cards, but we've had some nice cardbacks come from hasbro.

Glassman - WOW!  Those are awesome man, excellent work.  I really like the sculpted Ep. II and Ep. III Clone armor, they turned out perfect (very vintage-vibe to them).
I like your choice of helmets also.  The bootleg Clone helmet definitely has a vintage-feel to it and the Galactic Heroes helmet (although I did not like it at first) works perfectly, I think.  Initially I thought it was a bit too squat, but upon looking at it again, I see that it really matches the vintage Stormtrooper helmet pretty well in terms of proportions.
This is such a great idea!  I really need to learn how to cast figures so that I can try projects like this!

Excellent work, the cards turned out great!
Keep it up Glassman!

It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Thanks alot Gregor,

Yeah, the squatness of the GH head, made me hesitate, but its defority matched the vintage stormies deformed helmet.  I may revisit it this weekend, to make one less squat.

Glassman, i know i commented more over at RS regarding the packaging ideas (vintage 3 pack) but i really like what you have done carding them seperately. it reminds me of the way the vintage German POTF figures were packaged on the card in a large envelope back in 1985.  looks great!

You my friend have way too much talent!   ;)

Those look just stunning.  Like pure production quality.  If I saw them online and didn't know you made them, I'd swear that Hasbro was releasing them.

Hasbro should take a serious look at your work.

Exactly! I was hoping you would card the sisters. I do think the dancer needs to be on a new saga card. The rots card really hides the figure because of the lava background. The new saga card has this fishtank looking bubble that would show off the figure better. Maybe put in a Sea Monkeys background as a joke.  I like the idea of it having swimming action even though I know it does. Maybe she can have diving and resurfacing function by added baking soda to a comparent on her back? (like a toy submarine).

Thanks guys,  after i had these carded and side by side, i really realized how much i never really liked the ROTS cards.
They are just ugly/busy compared to the elegance of some of the other cards.

Funny thing is that with all the clones i've made, i have more ROTS carded figures than any other cards.
Maybe thats why i stopped carding them, casue i didnt like how they looked carded... But now with the
06 cards.. i like carding again. ;D

Thanks Fritz. Carding figures is my favorite part of customizing.
I'm actually planning a HUGE custom carding project this year.
It may take me the whole year. If i stick to it...may take longer if i don't.

The pic is from the official movie guide. It has alot of cool images in it. I have a scan if you need it.
