I'm unclear given all the recent activity -- is one person posting these to ebay or are we each doing them directly (re: Jokabofe's credit card being charged)?

And Phurby, I know Chris already has this up on the jawa main page, but I'll make sure it gets into the forums there and the affiliated local collector clubs.

Go for it! Have you figured out a way to make Kermit stand up straight? He keeps falling forward. That is one of the things I wanted to fix.

That sounds good tykrazen. I've hit up FFURG and I'll hit GH up also. We need to spread the word. I think we should post our auctions secparately instead of making Jokabofe charge it to his credit card. Just make sure everybody knows the auction is out there.

I thought I was sending a custom to Darth Delicious to post on ebay.  Maybe I'm mistaken?

Basically, I guess I just kinda "jumped the gun" a little and posted this one on my own. I know that DD was going to collect all the figures from everyone and post them himself on everyone's behalf. I just decided to post my own figure myself... and I would say anyone else that wants to do that should... I don't see why we should burdon 1 person with the repsonsibilities of doing it all. If you want to post it yourself, you just have to sign up with "Mission Fish" which is the organization that handles charity through ebay. If you want to send it to DD, get in touch with him and work those arrangements out.

Either way, please let me know when your auction goes up and give me a link to it, so I can post it on our front page and ask (futiliy it seems) some of the other sites to do the same.

As sad as it is to say, I think some sites are run by fans and other sites are run as a business.  Sadly many site users are unaware of that fact.

I'm thinking about throwing this one up for auction, but I like it a lot and it will be hard to part with.  :-\ I might repaint a clone instead.

I asked the mod over at RS customs about pinning the charity thread at the top of the customs section. He said, I need to talk to Philip about it. So, I pm'ed Philip with my request. His answer was "No."

Somehow if this had originated at his site, I think his answer would have been different.

Ya know, that site is really frustrating at times!!! I MUCHmore prefered the forums back when they were Mike Sullengers!  I really hate the 'Holier Than Though' attitude of some, not all, of the mods over there.

Yeah, we've seen some issues with them, obviously referring to what happened a while back with the bannings they put into place... too bad to see a site become so commercialized.  I really like some of the people over there, but it's sad to see how some things are being run.

But I hope that doesn't become the focal point of this thread.  I was pretty sure they'd avoid having anything to do with this site though.

I know what you mean. All I asked was for the thread to be pinned. It's not like I wanted to take over a section of his home page with a direct link to these auctions. Just a simple sticky.

They're stickied at TheJawa.com and the NJSWCC,  ;) thanks for posting them Mitch!

I'm thinking about making another Microman Scout figure for this auction, do you guys think that's a good idea?  Hopefully I'll have time to make one, if not I'll probably submit my rocket clonetrooper.  The Microman Scout takes about 4-5 hours and the rocket clone takes about 45 mins....

Good idea. I'd buy one of your Micromen even it wasn't for charity.
