Well, interesting times here on the Kubricks boards with the release of Series 8, the Blue Stars figure and the Darth Maul set.  Took some time tonight to do a quick Battle Droid repaint to create a Battle Droid Security figure.  Hope you all enjoy.





Next up is a Battle Droid Pilot and an OOM-9...

So as promised yesterday, here's a Battle Droid Pilot:






The blue looks more washed out/pastel than it actually is in person, but I still might mix up a darker shade of blue and try it again.

These are pretty cool.  You should take some Hasbro fig clone lightning and make one with boomer damage!

Ha!  I hadn't thought of that.  That would be a cool one too.  I might have to buy one of my extras back from BrentS though in order to do so... I think he can spare one of the 17 or so he has...

Thought I'd paint up some custom Clone Troopers to go along with my Clone Trooper Commander and Battle Droid repaints.  Here are a Lieutenant and a Sergeant:





I'm very pleased with the green, but the blue is too dark... I'm thinking of mixing up some lighter blue and trying it again.

I was messing around with my Kubricks today and created a simple alternate version of Jango from series 9. I simply popped/pried off the jetpack, slid off the helmet and then added the poncho from the TAC #57 Jango figure. I then simply enlarged the hole in the poncho and refit the jetpack, popped the helmet back on and presto - a AOTC cutscene Jango! Obviously, the jetpack is wrong but I'm fine with that. Pic to come....

Have any one thought about a obi clonetrooper custom? I was just thinking, what you would use for a cloak? And whats the best way to dismantle?
