EU FEMALE CLONE TROOPER-UPDATED 9/27
« on: September 20, 2005, 02:59 AM »
*this has also been posted at the fan art section, i wanted to post here too in case some don't visit that section.  mods, please delete if redundant.*

I've been going crazy and loving this new WACOM tablet that I just got  !!!
Somebody at the censorship-prone RS boards requested that I do a female Clone Trooper Commando done up like Cody's commandos (the previously named Fox character).  Though his particular request is still being designed to his taste, I decided to render up one of my initial designs in Photoshop.

The artwork is fantastic and the picture looks great.  But I just do not like the idea of a clone trooper with a C sized rack on a battlefield.  I just can't come to grips with that.

Woot! That's a cool design. They could've been a good part of the batlle by distracting enemies with their racks. ;) :P :-*

Shouldn't the lower half the breast be covered with armor too? It looks incomplete that way.

LOL, it is, that's just suppose to be reflection from the burning ground....this is my first ever digital painting.  oh well, I guess I wasn't successful in communicating that... :-\
Great thing about working digital...changes take NO effort at all!  ;D

Hey!  It's a INTUOS 3 w/ a 4x5 working surface.  Sounds small, but that's all you need unless you have a large screen to work with.  I got it from a store called Fry's, but I would expect most computer stores would carry it.  Wasn't cheap, it was around 250., but it's for work and saves money in the long run.  Previously, I used design markers which would run around 2. to 3. apiece.  I know EBAY has a bunch of auctions for some used or new ones.

Are you kidding?  Do you know how much faster the Galaxy would be subdued?  :o

You know... In the EU it always mentions females being a big part of what makes up the mandalorian armies. I've ALWAYS wondered what female mandalorian armour would looks like, and if there's a man to do it properly, it'd be you, JubJub.

I love this pic. I can see this happening- ince they gave obi-wan armour, I could see a non-clone general wearing armour like this.

Very cool, great work as always JubJubJedi!
I agree with ThePerennial - I could definitely see some Jedi wearing this armor.  Maybe some female Mandalorian merc was propositioned to be a clone DNA donor?   ;)

Great pic, jubjub!  I enjoy the soft lines in the picture - it gives the pic a real imaginative quality.

Then it would work to her favour.  While you're staring at her rack, she's blowing your brains out.   ;)

You guys think this helmet might be more feminine?  I was going for a "bird like" look.

Damn, that's really cool!  I like the shape of the helmet - it's feminine yet tough, perfect for a female clone commander.
I like the armor designs as well, although I would probably change the boots a bit - more like those "femtrooper" costume people (less baggy)
