Michelob Golden finally came to Iowa. I went to a dive down the street from my apartment called Hoochies (no ****) and had a few. I meant to stop there for one, but as everyone knows, one becomes several, and I can barely see straight now. Good thing I was able to walk home.

Dammit.  It turns out my wife's friends don't drink.  Not that I have to drink at a party, but it does help to forget where I live.

A little off topic, but, when I was younger I lived in Old Town Alexandria.  As luck would have it, my favorite bar/hangout was a block over and up from my townhouse.   After crossing the street at closing time (which was quite a task sometimes ), all I had to do was keep my left hand on the side of the townhomes/rowhouses and I would find my way home.  My friends and I literally crawled home a couple of times.
