don't go being a vanilla midget hater now, if it wasn't for them, wrestling would be nothing but undertakers and big shows.

DAVE~!

Now time for him to crush HHH, take the World Title, then pop Orton's head like a pimple.

In case anyone else was interested here's the rest of the Royal Rumble 2005 results:

* Edge over Shawn Michaels
* Undertaker over Heidenreich in a Casket Match
* JBL pins Kurt Angle in Triple-Threat Smackdown World Title Match that included The Big Show
* HHH over Randy Orton in RAW World Title Match
* Batista eliminates John Cena to win the Royal Rumble and main event title match at Wrestlemania 21

vomit profusely

Wrestlemania this year has the potential to be good or crappy, really only 2 standout matches in Angle/Michaels and Eddy/Rey. While the 6 man ladder match has some quality talent, it will be a messy spotfest which will be exciting but probably will leave the viewer lacking. Cena/JBL will be a punchfest, good for brawling but not much else. Same goes for HHH/Batista, but the roof will blow if DAVE~! wins. And Austin on Piper's Pit will be fun, just to see if they're both wacked out of their mind. Won't be able to catch the show, but hoping to hear some good stuff come out of it.

What could be more important that WRESTLEMANIA?

And I think Dave vs HHH could possibly be the match of the year, IF they do it right.

Yeah sounded like a better show than I would have expected. Here's the full results....

*Rey Mysterio d. Eddy Guerrero (via hurricanrana)
*Edge d. Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Christian, & Kane in the 6-way Ladder match for a future RAW World Title shot.
*Akebono d. The Big Show in their sumo match
*Hulk Hogan saved Eugene from a beatdown from Hassan & Daivari
*Undertaker d. Randy Orton (via tombstone piledriver)
*Woman's Title match: Trish Stratus (c) d. Christy Hemme (via chick kick)
*Steve Austin gave Stone Cold stunners to Carlito and Roddy Piper in Piper's Pit
*Kurt Angle d. Shawn Michaels (via ankle lock tapout)
*Smackdown World Title match: John Cena d. JBL (c) to win the title.
*RAW World Title match: DAVE~! Batista d. HHH (c) to win the title.

Was surprised that they went with both title changes tonight, thought they'd be concerned one would overshadow the other. Was equally surprised to see Edge win the ladder match, they've already done his title chase, what more can they do?

Well WWE did some spring cleaning this week, dropping half a dozen people...

Rhyno - Got axed for making an ass of himself at the hotel during WM21 weekend. Argued with his wife in the lobby and smashed up a potted plant. Not a huge loss, while slightly popular, he just wasn't going to get much of a push unless they brought back the Hardcore title.

Matt Hardy - The biggest of the layoffs, likely got canned for making public the affair between Edge and Lita, which is ridiculous but the E has a strict abhorrence of the net. A shame really, cause he was a solid midcard guy who could work a good match with most wrestlers and would have given a boost to the IC or US title scene.

Paul Bearer - Yeah even after getting buried in concrete, he was still on the payroll. Obviously they needed to trim the fat here.  :D

Jesus - If you blinked you missed him, he was Carlito's bodyguard on Smackdown at the end of 04, but got injured and had to have surgery. Don't know much about him other than it's way lame to fire a guy while he's out with an injury caused while working for you.

Chilly Willy - Former ECW guy, was in OVW on a developmental deal. Likely just wasn't what they were looking for.

Molly Holly - Word is, she asked to be released as she wasn't happy with how her career was going in the E. While I can agree with that, seeing that  she shaved herself bald at WMXX in a hot angle, and they NEVER followed up with it. But she has little options in the US, women's wrestling isn't that big and the only possible place here to go would be TNA which has no women's division. She could hit Japan where apparently the women are all the rage.

Now only if they would let go of Heidenreich, Snitsky, Dorkboy and Shawn Michaels, the cleaning could be complete....

Yesterday I read at Rebel Scum, that Chris Candido (Skip of the Body Donnas) has passed away. Just check wwe.com, and the news is up there to.

Well I was never a fan of the Body Donnas, but he was way to young to die.

Yeah, it sucks. He died of a ******* staph infection after he broke his leg at the TNA PPV on Sunday. What a way to go out, especially after getting over a coke addiction.

RIP
