Make me think of Hercules.  Hercules killed his own kids (and wife?)  in a fit of rage.  However, he didn't kill himself, he just had to fufill his Labours to pay penance...

I stopped watching wrestling years ago, but hearing this shocking story made my jaw drop.  Not to mention how many Pro Wrestlers have died before the age of 45!
This is the way.

I have spoken.

So reflecting on this a little bit...  Now that more details surfaced anyway...

Wow...  Just friggin' wow. :(

The police seem to have nailed this down to a matter of it being a murder/suicide thing which is just horrible...  It's excuseless if that was the actual case.  It's horrible really...  And sadly it makes a man many people liked as a celebrity, and if it is true it turns him into a horrid monster.  No excuses really.  It still has to hurt for the people that were his fans too as a double whammy that the guy's not only dead now but he also has turned out to be a man capable of horrible things I guess...

So sad for his wife and son...  You have to feel bad for the parents on both sides.  You never know about people I guess.  It's like that cop in Ohio that murdered his gf...  You're supposed to admire that guy too, and then that **** happens.

Beniot was always one of my absolute favorites in wrestling. I hadn't watched in ages, but tuned in a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to see if Beniot had an interesting angle going for him. Hopefully a little more comes to light about why he did this... I had always heard he was one of the coolest dudes in the business.

All the roid rage stuff is annoying as ****, though.

Somehow it just seems worse (if that's possible) knowing he used a "move" previously designed to entertain people as a way to kill a member of his own family.

Congrats...it looked to be a good show.

I have been to 100's of these events over the years for WCW, ECW, & WWF/WWE. I have been to PPV's for all and TV tapings for all. The only one I really would like to see in my lifetime is WRESTLEMANIA!!!

It was cool. To be honest the best part was that I took my father and he had a great time. I never saw him smile so much. If any of you are close to older italian men you know that seeing them smile is a rarity.  ;D
