The re-opening was probably a bigger deal than the Episode III title announcement.

(Still waiting to see a blurb about it on the main page. . .)

Speaking of which, now that JD's hosting the site, when do I get my weekly column, where I get to show off my "Star Wars 'humor'" in writing?  You know, make these "witty" observations about how much TRU sucks, or how unfair all the exclusives are, etc.

I was thinking of calling it "Lobot's Lingo".

Let me know when I can submit my first article!

From TheForce.net:

John Hollis, known to Star Wars fans as Lobot from Bespin, recently passed away.

Info passed on from Ken DAlessio:

John Hollis, who played Professor Sondergaard in the Jon Pertwee serial "The Mutants," died on October 18 in London of natural causes. Hollis had an extensive career in science fiction roles, including
on "The Tomorrow People," "Blake's 7," "Adam Adamant Lives,"

"The Avengers," "A For Andromeda" and in the films "Flash Gordon," the "Superman" series and "The Day of the Triffids," and is perhaps best known to fans as Lando Calrissian's aide Lobot in "The Empire Strikes Back".

You can catch up with is long career over at IMDB.

Jeez, another OT actor is gone. I know they aren't going to be around forever but they are going too fast now. Rest in Peace John.
