Doomesday makes his presence felt on next weeks Smallville and he ain't in human form anymore...Holly Crap looks like a great episode! Caught last part of tonights show, and its was great...
and I finally figured out who the guy is that is playing "doomesday" I have been looking at this guy for weeks now, and it bugged the **** out of me because I knew him from somewhere..then I was playing the Force Unleashed and he was right there on my TV.  The guy that they used for "starkiller" and "Doomesday" are one in the same. His name is  Sam Witmer.

My local CW will be broadcasting the Steelers game that night.  So I'm going to have to cruise through the guide and hope they rebroadcast Smallville and Supernatural afterwards.

Newsarama is currently running their own poll on who they believe should play Captain America, and its been narrowed down to three contenders (up to a vote at their site).  The finalists are:

Nathan Fillion (Serenity)
Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight)
Mark Valley (Fringe and also a vet of West Point/Desert Storm)

More details at the linky.

I could see Eckhart or Valley in the role.

Nathan Fillion is a great actor, but I just don't see him as a convincing Captain America.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Newsarama's results are in, and Mark Valley was the voters' choice.  I wonder if he will get any actual consideration for the role.  He is a little older (44), but I guess RDJ was 42 when he filmed Iron Man - and as was mention in Newsarama's article, it would be strange to see a 42 year old RDJ and a 20-25 actor playing Cap in an Avengers movie.  We'll see I guess.

Fillion finished 2nd.  I really enjoy him as an actor, but like many others, I always pictured him more as Hal Jordan - a role I hope he's considered for when it comes up.  Anyways, hopefully Marvel will announce their choice pretty soon as they now have a director, writers, and release date for Cap.

And, just like that, Newarama's second casting poll is now up - this time looking for the right actress for Wonder Woman.

I finally got around to watching The Incredible Hulk this weekend.  That was, surprisingly, a whole lot of fun!

Newsarama's "fan casting" for the Wonder Woman movie (which is still a ways off) has been narrowed down to three finalists - you can vote at the linky, if interested:

Megan Fox (Transformers)
Morena Baccarin (Firefly)
Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother, and also, Joss Whedon's choice when he was on the movie)

I'd have to go with Cobie.  Megan is tiny.  I don't think any of the three of them have the physicality to pull it off.

if i had to pick of those, I guess Cobie would be it.  Megan's too skanky.

Don't really like any of the three for the role though.  somewhere in this thread was a really good suggestion, but I don't remember who it was.
