SuperHeroHype.com has an article up today featuring a call sheet they have from the Batman Begins shooting.  They think that it is real, but it didn't sound like they were 100% sure.  The surprise on this sheet was a listing of "T. Welling" playing the part of "Kent".  Of course, the speculation is Smallville star Tom Welling making a cameo as Clark Kent, which I think might be kind of cool.  Anyways, we'll have to wait and see if it was true, but interesting news either way.  He's also been rumored for the lead in the Superman movie, but no confirmation on that role yet.

According to an article at SuperHeroHype.com,  comic book writer Mark Millar says that Warner Brothers has found their Superman.  He originally stated that "Passion of the Christ" star Jim Cavaziel would be cast, then earlier this week AICN main man Harry Knowles said that was untrue.  Millar came back and said he would donate $1000 to charity if he was wrong, or something like that.  Anyways, more at the linky above.  What do you think of Cavaziel as Supes?  To be honest, I wouldn't have minded seeing Tom Welling, from Smallville, in the role...but many others might disagree with that.  My wife and I have just started catching this show in the reruns this summer, and it seems pretty good.  But, I guess TV is different than the big screen though too.

Also, another story discussing the X-Men franchise, and the possibility of Sentinels being used in the movies.  Apparently they were originally planned/looked at for X2, but would have cost 8 Million to produce.  Also, apparently the actor that portrayed Colossus in X2 (Daniel Cudmore) has an option for a sequel, but it has not yet been exercised.  You can check out a maquette of what the sentinel design was like, HERE.

Have they signed Jackman yet?  I would guess, no Jackman, no X3

SuperHeroHype has news regarding some pics taken from the set of the Fantastic Four movie.  Although they aren't necessarily the clearest or closest pictures, you can get your first look of Michael Chiklis in his Thing get up.

Just read that the picture shown possibly might be Thing in "mid transformation" and isn't the "final Thing look".  I'm hoping that is correct :).

Update now...although these pictures aren't quite as clear, here's the rest of the cast:

Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm/The Thing

Jessica Alba as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman

Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch

Ioan Gruffold as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic

Also, bigger pic of Thing's face:

Jessica Alba

Damnit, all they have to do is add the rock eyebrows to Thing and he's there (look wise, I'm sure the size issue will be worked out with force perspective and such ala LOTR)
Common sense isn't so common
