As you may have seen on Twitter, there was a Hasbro google hangout today in which some of the fan sites participated.
Hasbro didn't exactly announce the contents of Wave 6 there, but they did confirm it's existence by saying there would be TWO waves this Fall.
Wave 6 should be the first to have Rogue One SA 3.75" figures - and YES, there will be some. So buy up the 5POA at your own risk... ;)

There was only one 5poa I regretted buying and it was the Poe pilot. I'm ok with the risk. The 5poa just go in the fodder bin if Hasbro gives is better. I just am happy getting the cool version. :)

I think it's pretty likely that we're going to get a Jyn Erso in this line. But in this wave? Based on what Hasbro did last year, they only had Kylo Ren and the First Order Stormtrooper as the first SA offerings from THE FORCE AWAKENS. And that leaves me wondering if there will be a similar pattern this year.
I think we're probably going to get at least one version of Jyn Erso in this line. She has at least three costume changes that we know of in the movie. But I'm going to be a little pissed if the version of Jyn that we do get is in the Imperial Ground Crew disguise.
The same goes for Cassian Andor. I think we've seen four costume changes for him: Yavin, Eadu, Imperial Officer disguise and Scarif. So far we've seen 3.75" versions of Cassian Andor from Yavin and Eadu. I'm thinking that we might get him in the Scarif costume in this line.
Aside from those obvious choices? I think the Scarif Stormtrooper seems likely. And I think Hasbro's going to make us wait a little while on an SA Deathtrooper until at least the wave after this one.

I'm sort of thinking the Jyn we get will be the Ground Crew outfit, if only because it will double as a generic crew member. I wouldn't mind it but would also appreciate just about any costume she wears as they're all pretty neat. Cassain - ditto. I think locks for this line are K2 and the Death Trooper. I would imagine we'll see a new SA Stormtrooper as well.

I would be perfectly happy if Hasbro reissued the Stormtrooper that came in the Kmart Scanning Crew 2-pack. There have been enough SA Stormtroopers at this point that I'd be okay with the reissue. Especially if they can put the saved tooling dollars into a new SA figure of a character we haven't gotten before.

The hints and teases were for the return of the Vintage Collection and Kenner inspired cardbacks. That is rumored to be happening in 2017 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars.
I think a TON of people are going to be disappointed by this rumor because so many are expecting "the return of the Vintage Collection!" to mean the return of $10 SA figures on Kenner-style cardbacks. Realistically though, what it probably means is new OT/PT/ST 5POA figures on Kenner-style cardbacks for $10. :-X

Yeah, unless they somehow move the goal post up to $15 or probably more for a SA figure, I think it will probably be the 5POA stuff too. Which I'd be ok with, for the most part.

Have we had any sort of cross check between the codenames that are available via Brickseek and the actual figures? Because the code names that come out of Brickseek are as follows:
54767067 Shark Trooper Yellow
54767069 Seal Leader Green
54767070 Shark Trooper Deluxe
54767072 Seal Communicator
EDIT: I did a little searching. "Seal Leader Green" comes up as Jyn Erso. But Seal Communicator may actually be Baze Malbus.

Baze's code name is Seal Weaponizer

MSW listed him as the Communicator. But this code name makes much more sense. And Seal Seer is pretty obviously Chirrut Imwe.
I haven't been able to find any sort of cross reference for the communicator at this point. By process of elimination it could be either Cassian Andor or Bodhi Rook.

Great assortment there. It's been a long time for me since a new army builder has been released. I picked up a couple of TFA Stormtroopers, but I'll certainly not be putting in the dedication as I do toward my OT imperials.

So I'm buying the you know what out of these. Great looking figures. The Scarif trooper is listed as the Squad Leader but this is the grunt version (fine by me). The leader has the blue markings.

I know those days are gone, but man I wish these were the main line - or at least a VOTC-like sublime that shipped everywhere. Remember those days? Anyways, I'm not one that necessarily has a problem with the 5 POA stuff, but these (and the Force Awakens ones) just remind you of what Hasbro and the line is capable of. These look great, really like the designs of the new troopers for Rogue One.

Love em. I just hope these are easy to find. Never saw Phasma/Han/Leia, and have yet to see Wave 5.

Yeah. The Squad Leader is already in the 2-pack with Moroff and has more intricate markings.

The one in the Walmart exclusive wave does seem more like a standard trooper, despite the name on the package.
I'm actually very glad to see this lineup. I think it works well. And I hope there's going to be a second wave of ROGUE ONE figures in this line, too.

Yeah if buy these by the case given the opportunity and like a minimum of 2 cases worth.
I'd love to see the rest of the main cast done this way at least... Several R1 waves would be nice.

From what we've seen of the Death Troopers in the trailer so far, I get the sense that they're a really small force. If there are a dozen of them on screen in ROGUE ONE I would be really surprised. That might at least make army building them a little more economical.
As for the Shoretroopers/Scarif troopers? Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm wondering how easy it would be to swap legs on these figures... I'm thinking the Cassian jacket/torso might make a good base for an SA TFA Han, since the TBS TFA Han has the "regular" legs from the movie, and the jacket matches a little closely than the Finn figure does.

I just found (and bought) Jyn and the Deathtrooper. However, it was a hybrid case, more like wave 5.5. it contained:
3 Jyns
3 Deathtroopers
2 ERG's
2 Ashoka's
1 Lando
1 Ackbar

Yeah, it seems like, for some reason, they broke up the wave from what they initially announced. Jyn and Deathtrooper are in this wave and Scariff Trooper and Cassian got bumped into the next one.
I don't think I've even seen promo images of these ones yet?

Glad that I saw the reports, because I found the Jyn Erso from this case on my way home from work. But no Deathtroopers.

Found these at a local store on the way home from work. Equally weird that this store received zero cases of the other waves. There were 2 Jyns, 3 Death Troopers, 2 ERGs, and then 1 Ackbar, Lando and Ahsoka.
I grabbed 1 Jyn and 2 Death Troopers. They all had REALLY good paint apps.

It stings more when you never find ERGs or Ahsoka. Even with the new cases I still don't expect to find diddly (Since we don't live in the same region :D ). Standard Wal-Marts around here, they don't stock their exclusives or stock too little to matter. Makes not collecting easy. :( Saves me money. :-\

When I picked up a couple of Jyn Erso's the other day they were both $10.83.

I went into a TRU last night and they had an endcap overflowing with the 6" Scariff Trooper. They must have had close to 75 of them in the store.

If you were at TRU, that was probably the 6" Imperial Hovertank Pilot. ;)

Ok - so even though I just found the Jyn/Deathtrooper figures there's no reason to go crazy continuing to look and see if I can find the Cassian/Scarif Trooper figures - correct?

No seems I was mistaking that. I've looked today and can't find anything on it. Could've sworn I read someone found them in TX, but I can't do much but putz on a phone at the moment.

I don't think the parts go together. I think one is a grappling hook and the other is a radio.

Hunh? The WM Black Series one comes with a pistol and two attachments. There are holes on each of the attachments that fit onto the pistol to make it a rifle.

Well that explains it, I thought one end was a wiry shoulder stock and the other end was the barrel. I figured it was a poorly included version of Cassian's sniper rifle. There's even a nub in one half, and a u-shaped groove in the other like they're supposed to fit.

They do fit together. I leave it as a pistol in my display though.
