Title: Hasbro Jedi Points Survey - Did U Get One?

I was just emailed a survey from Hasbro regarding the Jedi Points.  I am sure most everyone who is a member got one. It looks like they have come to realize that the auction does not hold alot of positive feedback and they may be rethinking another use for the points.  Thoughts?

I haven't gotten mine yet.  I'm quite certain that the overwhelming response will be a strongly negative one regarding collectors' outlook on the current redemption system for Jedi Points.

At least Hasbro wants to see what we think, right?

I see I got one this morning (or yesterday) as well.  I started to fill it out, but I got to the question about how many points I had, and I really had no idea, so I closed it and I guess I'll fill it out later.  I guess it is good that they at least make an attempt to get some feedback from the fans/collectors though, hopefully it helps in the future.

I guess the survey told them to shaft the JMPs because they are NOT on the OTC packaging...

I'm holding them, irregardless.  

I hope they come to be useful...  I'm not going to count on it but I hope.

Mail-away exclusives are one of the biggest things I miss about this line.  G.I. Joe has so many Fan Club exclusives and things, it's great for those who collect hard-core in that line.  I wish we'd have that kind of attention here as well.

I'm curious, really, h ow this line's going to go after E3.  I can take or leave it...  I'll just go on customizing, so I wn't be broken-hearted when/if it stops production right away.  I'm curious if Hasbro has the foresight to go really collector-oriented though, or what effect a TV series may have.

You'd think in an upcoming film year they'd do an exclusive mail-away...  It's coming up on the seemingly last chance to do so in a truly "profitable" fashion (By Hasbro's opinion of what they think will yield them the maximum benefit anyway).  I'd argue it could work for them in non-movie years too though.

900? that's it?? i've got over 7000 sitting here in a shoe box. guess i shoulda put them on ebay when i had the chance  ::)

I had about 8000 points, bt I actually won some things during the auctions, so that ate up about 7500 of my points, leaving me with 500 plus the 400 or so I've earned since last December.
