JD Sports Forum! / Re: Any other fans of Sumo-wrestling here?
« on: March 2, 2010, 11:31 PM »
Hi, I think sumo could be amusing to watch, cause its unusual to be in front so big guys
concerning they abilities they push, do suplexes, wrestle and try to pull the hands to open a gap for a projection.

When seeing recent matches I noticed that some sumo wrestlers do not have such dilatated abdomen, they are evolving their shape, still fat, but in a way they can gain speed for sumo´s techniques.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Boba Fett Mail-Away Offer?
« on: March 1, 2010, 10:37 AM »
This vintage re-release could be different from the vinty original if it comes with a corrected stand pose, that means
in 1978-1980 Fett stands tilted to the side. In the add his posture looks straight.

I suppose this because my vinty Fett stands tilted to the side.

Although there were two tri-logo repacks near 1985 which corrected his stand.

amazing line, I wish I could collect it.

seems like all micro machines follow a scale

the troopers, the mini heads, etc.

469
Seems like vehicles rendition don´t follow a scale
perhaps only Titanium Ultra are planned to mantain a proportion among vessels and ships.

Despite this, all this are good renditions, remember me the work of gorgi toys (die cast cars).

470
Seems like this 2 guys are the last step in Zucluss and 4 Lom evolution.

Only a Zuckuss which shows his real face beneath his mask could be the ultimate step

as it happens with the 3 parts mask helmet Vader for vintage collection, which reisues the evolution vader body.

The Legacy Collection / Re: TRU Deluxe Speeder Bike w/Scout Trooper
« on: February 23, 2010, 07:28 PM »
As ruiner said: it´s true Hasbro forgot to paint biker scout soles of his boots

a serious mistake...

why are they doing this? A way to save money on figures painting?

This happened frecuently

sometimes repacks come with an unpainted  detail: belts, soles of boots, bracelets, badges, etc.

This attitude ruins the evolution presented in current toys ???

Kubricks / Re: Deluxe Series 2 - Hoth

well done, Kubrikcks is evolving its sculpts. More detail of costumes and weapons now.

One point in favour of this trooper is his height, compared with tsc endor troopers that were too short in scale.

The potj can match in height votc or lc stormtroopers for a diorama.

Good review David

I agree this figure is accurated, but perhaps Hasbro will release other ughnaughts in the vintage line to fit the scene of Chewie picking up C3po parts when these creatures were fighting the  wookiee.

Toy Reviews / Re: New JD Review: C-3PO (With Ewok Throne)
« on: February 19, 2010, 07:16 PM »
I wonder if Hasbro would make new variations for Endor 3PO´S in the future

For example tsc is ewok throne C3po, but they would want to release a story teller C3po, to fit with the scene the protocol droid is showing and telling the epic adventure of the classic Trilogy.

As this 3po become the bases, they must mix it with the new "vintage" 3po in search of accuracy rather than continous repacks.

This is fine enough to collect, a must for Ot collectors like me!

I think Hasbro could get some inspiration for the Dagobah Luke pilot checking the details of the Attakus metal Luke DAgobah Pilot figure, a very accurate rendition of the young jedi apprentice.

This release of a vintage figure must serve as an example to release others items that were hard to collect

this means a re-release of vintage jawa, death squad commander, tie pilot, yak face

Do it Hasbro you have the molds.

I hope the new gamorrean wouldn´t be so shorter than the potf2 version (this happened with Malakili LC / POTF2).

a challenge for this figure is the articulation, to hold the vibro blade axe or spear

Is Hasbro wants to sell this guy, better they include the two weapons axe and spear to make it more poseable.

For the atst driver?

Well a look more like the imperial technician from LC (Articulation is a must)

Camie comes with a pet, kind of puppy, both figures are meant to fit empire 8 story but they´re also suitable to anh deleted scene.

Nice paint job and sculpt, Camie looks slim and with a decent hairdress depict.
