Also here is my entry for the Group Project - Jango Fett.  I know this isn't nearly the "Ultimate Jango Fett" but it suits my purposes. I can't compete with the great looking Jangos so far in this challege.  I took a stab at him as a prisoner (without his armor).  I hope to include this version in my photonovel.

I did paint up some armor but it is not set to fit him.

Recipe is very basic
Head - Jango from the Saga line (not sure which one even)
Body - Han Solo in Carbonite (Saga 2)

Dang it brentS... I was going for the removable armor jango.... you stole my thunder!!  :P
Great work, he does look like he's got a thermal detonator in his cheeks.  I guess thats from hollowing?
Great concept. Beautiful paint colors. great work.

I barely had time to work on this, but i started... We will see if any miracles happen tonight.

I chose to try my hand at the Pilot jango head sculpt without the headgear.
I made a wax cast , then sculpted the rest of his head.

It surprised me how much i thought this ended up looking just like the EVO epIII clone head, when i didnt think
the evo head looked like jango at all.
I then  hollowed  it to fit onto a ball joint.
Here is the first cast.

Sorry for the blurry pics, i was rushing. He's the head cast.
and the armor i was going after...

I wouldn't quite call my armor as "removable"  I simply painted up a piece of the deluxe jango armor to  make sure people didn't forget that he was still Jango.

I've gotten a lot of funny comments about his cheeks.  Yes, you are all correct, this is a side reaction of hollowing out the face.  I might try to make the ball joint a little smaller and give him back is natural cheekbones.

I was very pleased how well the painting on this one came out.  I think its believable that could be what the jumpsuit looks like underneath the armor :)

Fantastic set of Jangos we got for this group project. I'll post them all in the GP entry thread.

I'm still amazed on how well your casting comes out. It looks perfect everytime. I still make a mess but I do occasionly get a decent cast. I've used up my first set of silicone. At least the liquid plastic doesn't get wasted as fast. I've got to buy more supplies.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but its about to roll off the screen anyway.  I just ordered some new RTV to try making 2-piece molds.  I've been sculpting/customizing some more Galactic Heros figures and I want to make casts of them before I paint them.  My nephew's love these figures and I think they'd make cool birthday and christmas gifts.  Anyway, back to the sort-of topic.  I'm looking forward to trying to make some decent 2-piece molds but I'm expecting to struggle mightly.  Glassman makes this look sooo easy :)

that's a sweet looking jango mod, Glassman! I've been wondering when someone was going to use that face sculpt (which is my opinion is the best representation of temuera morrison's face)!

Once i get to finishing my jango, I'll post it up :P

Better pics of my jango head.

Here is the wax sculpt and the plastic cast comparison.

I aslo wanted to do a jango fett with the most articulation. So i thought of the most articulated figure...
Agrueable Han Solo votc.... So I started to work with that...

I dremeled off all protruding details, and then sculpted on a flightsuit.

I also went back to the Jango fet head, I hollowed this  to fit a ball joint. I cast pieces of the Deluxe jango and
used one of the imprefect casts from when i was selling Mandalore helmets. A littlle bubble filling and its a perfect helmet ready to paint.

I just need to sculpt the armor, holster  and belts.  Hoping to keep them removable.

He is coming along pretty well. No pictures though. I'm waiting on a delivery of silcone for more casting.
