Has anyone been finding these at Wal Marts yet? Or have all of these finds been Target to this point-

I'll back this review 100%. You really hit the highlights of this fantastic figure. Hasbro has come a long way (sometimes, when it wants to) from stickers and painted on straps.  I'm up to 8 of these now, and they are plentiful, so I may look to add a couple more. At this time Sun Fac, Veers, and the above reviewed AT-AT driver are the cream of a very weak crop.

More than 200 UGH on ebay now. Interestingly, no scorch or grievous that I could see. Maybe those will be more plentiful if/when Walmarts start stocking basic figs again.

Regardless of the profit margin for the scalpers, it is disgusting.
And what's worse, it was intentional.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Army Building or Hoarding?

Hmmmm.

I have to be careful castnig any stones, seeing as how I have a death star cabinet with about 70 basic stormtroopers and 50-60 other "troops" lined up for inspection. Of course, this has been collected over a period of 10 years, not in a few weeks.

While is is a little sickening to see something like that when so many of us have seen none (I have seen 1), I don't fault anyone for the way they choose to collect. If an army on Utapau is what you want, so be it.  But I think it is reasonable to ask if someone could have amassed that many that quickly without resorting to "unscrupulous" behavior. And if anyone is getting them from the back door of Walmart, Target, or other chain without them hitting the pegs for everyone to have a shot at them, then it is certainly hoarding.

At this rate, late April will see Tatooine and the Greatest Hits asortment on the pegs.

I have been surprised at my own reaction to the price differences. At 5.50 I was ready to put together a complete 2006 carded collection. At 6.50 or higher, I have almost no interest. I can't justify going back to add Bib and some of the other poop-in-plastic at those prices. It's too bad, I really like what they have done with the cardbacks, and most of the figures are well chosen and fairly well done.

And one of the highlights of the 2006 Saga collection is the great cardback art. Now the "chase" figures have the shiny stands next to the figures, obscuring the card back almost completely.  ::)

Minnesota must be the place to be today.

I hit an Obi-Wan UGH at a Target as well. Thanks to Jay for the tip or I probably would have passed on a run today, as it has been so discouraging.
I had to ask a redshirt to check the back room based on the scanner info. Another employee followed him in back after hearing us talking. I'm sure he held the rest of the case for himself, because the first guy came back with only two Ib Wan's (one a UGH). I thought about complaining, but getting them to go in back is tough enough, and may be I can run into this guy again some day when I need something.

My silver figure was a RFT, and, amazingly, they found a way to make the RFT suck just a little more.

Cool pic Brent- I hadn't seen the canadian background for these before.

I have wasted mucho gas this week only to find hoth vaders and empty pegs. But I am hopeful I will run across this wave soon.

I hate to throw fuel on a fire, and I hope people are right that the scaplers get screwed on these, but I think it is unlikely.
When you consider that each case has two, and the are different, that makes the ratio of any given chase figure 1:60.  (12 per case, 5 cases with UGH).
Considering 1:12 are a b**** to find, these are going to hold interest for a while...

I opened a few Sun Facs today, and I am very impressed with this bug. AOTC era Geonosians couldn't stand up to get away from a Raid can. This guy is detailed, loaded with joints, and the wings and two weapons make him ultra-poseable. A great army builder if you like the prequels. Too bad they made that scar business on one side of his face, a little more generic and I might have bought a couple more.

All 4 of mine have the gold paint, but I wouldn't classify it as particularly heavy or light.

Wow-

I hadn't dropped in on this thread in some time. It looks like everyone needs to take a breath, and relax. Every single one of these things is a small plastic toy. All fans choice figures except Ephant have sat on the shelves. And even he showed up at KB on clearance, and can still be had for quite a cheap price on the secondary market.
I agree with Chewie, if ICMG gets the nod, it should be super articulated, and I would like to see it packed with an ugnaught to help it move. Most, if not all, of those characters in the top 25 will see plastic before 2018 or whenever the license ends. It's just a matter of when.
There is simply no right or wrong on an issue like this, and nobody should behave as if there is.

So I say to Hasbro, give me ICMG, or give me... well anything really, I can't find any action figure products in the stores.
