I will probably pick one of these up if I see it. Pretty ambitious for for a toy. I really like the True Heroes Apache. Makes a nice Dragonfly.

Jesse, it is from whatever cheapo military line they sell at TRU.

The Vintage Collection / Re: 2011 "Vintage" Collection Wave 7

I finally found this wave (except for Logray), and while Bom Vimdim is particularly fantastic, I'm pretty let down by Bespin Han and the RFT.  The sculpted jacket and vest are just weak--huge steps backward that significantly diminish the quality of the figures.  Drives me nuts...so close to perfect, and no reason to go backwards like this, but they did.  Bummer.

And what's with the removable ammo strap for the RFT?  Why is that necessary?  They give us that worthless extra (that could have been sculpted on just fine), but they can't give the guy a ******* holster?  Lame.

On the bright side, Bom is sweet.

After breaking out the USS Flagg for the SDCC display, what other goodies do the Hasbro folks get to pull out of archives and play with? Do they have one of everything, boxed and loose, in some kind of museum in Pawtucket or wherever? Basically, what else do they have from the old days, where is it all kept, when do they get to use it and for what, and when might we be able to see something like that again?

I don't know; when I was a kid I was stoked to get Han and Luke variations. I have a seven year old who can't get enough versions of Batman. The weirder the better as far as he's concerned.

I picked up a couple of single carded Hydra soldiers from a grocery store for my Marvel Universe stuff. One is in darker movie colors and the other is brighter green and yellow. I'd prefer if they looked the same, but I'll take what I can get.

I just got mine today, and damn, it's a great set.  So stupid of Hasbro not to have put these guys out in the main retail line before KOTCS figures clogged the pegs.  The detail on Satipo is really good, as is Marion's head sculpt.  And I wish all the figures in the original line would have come with the stands. All in all, a really cool bunch of figures.

I loved it. I was surprised by bow much I enjoyed Thor, but Captain America was even better. Good in a lot of different ways. Probably my favorite Stan Lee cameo as well.

My little brother scored me one of these Raiders sets at the show, but missed out on the Zarana.

The first teaser is apparently attached to Green Lantern this weekend, and has - for the moment - shown up online:

Nothing to get too excited about, no footage or anything like that - sort of similar to the first Dark Knight trailer if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Nevermind, it was revealed that this was apparently a fake (I know it wasn't attached to GL when we saw it).

Hmm.  Well what about this one?

Actually, after watching it again, I'm a little skeptical.  Seems fishy they'd release a trailer that is 95% footage from the other movies.

Design only available tomorrow, Saturday, July 2, at http://riptapparel.com/

I would get that if it weren't for the Smurf.  Ghey.

That gives Flint and Blind Master a little latin and urban flava, respectively.  Interesting...

After restoring pegs for the Croc Master wave, which I missed, my nearest Wal Mart has now replaced it with Phineas & Herb guys.

I'd love it if they re-released the bombed out building molded in gray.

Found a Hawk, Cobra Commander, and a couple of Cobra Troopers today.  The best part was they rang up for $3.50 each.  Must've been under the same clearance SKU as all the pre-reset Destros.  They're all great, but Hawk is particularly awesome.  Downside is that his case does not appear to be very durable.  Closing it one time whitened the plastic hinge pretty bad.  I don't expect that to last, which is unfortunate, because next to the Destro briefcase full of cash, it's the coolest accessory I've seen in a long time.
