At least I got in on Nick Fury :o.

I've got a question on Deadpools; I wonder if y'all can help me out.  So I've got the gray Night Force one from the three pack, and I've got the red single carded one from the Wolverine movie line.  But then there's the red one from the MU 2-pack that came with Taskmaster and a red one from the Wolverine line that came with some kind of cannon.

I don't like the red one I've got; I especially hate his backpack.  I really like the sculpt of the gray Night Force one, and am wondering, if I begin scrounging around for a replacement red, are either of the other two (comic 2-pack or Wolverine Cannon) the same sculpt as the Night Force one?  Or even the same height?

Thank.s

Admittedly I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to GI Joe, but I loved it.  I've seen it three times.

No problem; I just snagged the two I needed from an Amazon seller for $25 each with free prime shipping.  But thank you.

I will keep you in mind if I find no one wanting all 3

Cool.  Thanks!

anybody here going to need all 3 of the new team packs?  I am going to have an extra set it looks like.  let me know.   my cost was $80.25 so that plus shipping and they are yours.

offering them up here on jd.com first

I'd take the X-Men and Inhumans set; already have a WCA.  Let me know if that's do-able.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: 'The Hobbit' movie

I'm sure that I'm going to be in the minority for saying this, but I wasn't overly impressed with this one as I was with the LOTR trilogy.  Yes, the scenery was great and the costumes were great, and it's great that they finally brought the Hobbit to the big screne.  But other than Andy Serkis' performance (which was the best part of the movie IMO), that's about it...  It just didn't have the same affect on me that the LOTR trilogy did when I watched it.  There just wasn't that 'real' feeling to this movie.  There was a lot more CGI feeling to this than I was expecting.

I agree with you.  Waaaaay too long, too.  I thought Martin Freeman as Bilbo was very good, though.  Just okay, in my book, which makes it a bit of a disappointment compared to the first LOTR trilogy, which I thought was wonderful all the way through.

The cost of shipping one of those mothers would likely minimize the value a bit; they're big and heavy.  But just FYI, there are different versions, one with silver legs, which is the more common release, and then a classic comic color variant that has purple legs.  If you find one with purple legs, that can be good trade bait.

Another thing to look for is Galactus.  Again, there are two versions, one that's lighter colored with blue and purple, and one that's...um, dark blue and dark purple.  The Dark Galactus is the variant. I found two of them at TJ Maxx a couple months ago (kept one for me and gave the other to my friend who runs this Galactus fan site.  Either Galactus is kind of hard to find, but most people who collect this line have one, but if they don't, they'll want him really bad.

**** you, Mattel.  **** you in the ass with a clydesdale dick without lube or even spit.

That's very true.  Although I've seen the Scarlet Witch wave in stores once (and remnants of it another time), I never saw the Beta Ray bill wave in stores.  But I've seen them online for a couple bucks over retail plus shipping.  Not worth it for most figs out there, but for these, I think I'd pay tHe premium.

These  last couple waves have had some of the best action figures ever.  Punisher, Scarlet Witch, Kraven, Beast, and Beta Ray Bill are all outstanding, high quality figures.  With the Star Wars line regressing in quality and GI Joe being non-existent, MU is the line to beat, IMO.

Boy, those didn't last long.

That looks terrific!  Where did you get that MK set?  I could really use one for an upcoming episode of my Chewie-inspired Marvel Universe Photonovel.

I saw the Kang/Scarlet Witch wave at Wal-Mart.  I have the revision case coming from BBTS but picked up a few just in case I want to check out paint jobs.  Interestingly, there were two Kangs on the pegs and they seemed to have different face paint.  One was very glossy, and the other had a flat finish.  I picked up the one with the flat finish.  I don't know if that counts as a legitimate variation or anything, but it was a pretty discernible difference.
