My English assignment is to analyze Metallica's "One" music video, and in a two page paper, state wether or not I believe the video to be Art, both visually, audibly, and lyrically.
The teacher gave me a CD with the video burned on it, so, I'm looking over it right now.

It's a shame that they didn't have you write a paper on the brilliant Hollywood flick, 2 Fast 2 Furious. :-[

Well, it is only English Comp. They save stuff like that for doctoral level theses...

So what's your thinking, Brad? Just curious.

Apparently I can analyze any one of 7 music videos that are on the disc - I guess I didn't pay attention. I'm thinking about writing it on Metallica as originally planned or Johnny Cash's "Hurt"....
I could paste the report here once I finish it.

I think that both Metallica's and Cash's music videos are art, lyrically/visually/audibly.

Couldn't agree more.
