Yeah, but I don't know how to read, so that's not much help really.

I don't collect them but know you guys do.  I look and see pretty colors, not much more :-*

Sure wish they would produce Frank (the combine) and pack him in the Movie Moments assortment.

Throw in two tippin' tractors and you have a cool set that my son would love.

I've managed to catch up except for one lone car - Chick.  Can't find him in a single pack or in one of those stupid Target Easter Eggs.  I hope he's around in greater numbers once the new wave starts hitting.

Not yet, I'm hearing April at least for Schumacher and then the ones we saw at Toy Fair (Yeti, Dinoco Chick, flashback Ramone and the way too many Lightning McQueens) should follow shortly there after.

I actually saw a Chick at a local Wal-Mart today during my lunch break.  Of course, that information doesn't really help you much, does it?

I actually managed to secure a Chick through a deal over at fwooshnet.com.  $6 shipped, I can live with that.  Know I can stop obsessing about finding the little green bastard.

Wow, we haven't seen anything new (aside from the Mike and Sully 2 pack) since Christmas.

Does that hold true for everyone?

Yeah.  I think Schumacher is scheduled in the next case to hit, which should be shortly.  After that, it's the Toy Fair cars (yeti, Dinoco Chick and the McQueen repaints).  I would think those would be out by the summer.

After that, who knows.  There's rumors of a bunch of new stuff coming - Cartrip and Cutlass, Mia and Tia, Tex, etc, but nothing's been confirmed yet.

How many colors has Ramone been released in so far (before this cardback)?

Green, yellow and purple.  Purple is available both as a single pack and in the two pack with Flo.

Upcoming is the above red one and the red and white flashback one.

I think the only other color he was in the movie was from the end race when he was painted red with yellow lightning bolts to support Lightning McQueen.  He was also blue in the short film Mater and the Ghost Light from the DVD, but I don't know if Mattel will produce something not technically seen in the movie.

(As you can probably tell, I've seen this movie way too much.  The boy loves it.)

No kidding :o

I've only seen it a couple of times and only have a passing interest in the cars to help you guys out if I can.  I knew I'd seen Ramone in more than one color, so was curious to see how many.

Anyone else get the feeling that toy lines are a driving factor in movie design issues?  Multi-colored clone troopers, multiple paint jobs for Cars....  Marketing driving a movie?  Nah, not at Disney or LucasFilm.
